Do we stand a chance at Fulham?

Defend well and take our chances. Of course they are favourites but also we can win.

They're a good team in good form, especially at home. I'd take a point right now and be delighted with that to be perfectly honest. Their season kicked on after the 4-5 at the lane and they haven't really looked back it would seem.

Tough game but we will certainly be up for it, Sessegnon is a big threat so Baldock needs to put him on his arse early doors and let him know he's in a battle!

The main thing giving me hope is that they're due a bad result. They've always been prone to hiccups previously.

They've also had a hard game at Derby which will have taken something out of them, whereas we'll be fresh. Having won at Derby they can also afford a draw.

But if they play as they have been doing we'll need a lot of luck to get a result I suspect.

Remember Wolves had their arses handed to them there so let's not have a tantrum if we lose 3-0.

Change formation - maybe.
Play 'our way' - probably not.

To stand any chance imo we have to nullify their attacks a bit, and that means a different formation and style. If we don't and play our usual best team and style, we have to outscore them because they'll score plenty against us. Maybe we could do it that way and return the 5-4 favour, but I doubt it.

That could at least help Clarke out of his funk if he gets a couple of goals, even if we lose.

If we win this one I'll be very surprised.

If we draw this one I'll be surprised.

If we lose this one I'll be relatively un-surprised.

And if we do either of the first two I'll be pleased.

I can't see us getting anything . I think they've just got a little bit too much for us . We're a team that appears to ' fit ' a finish of somewhere between 10th and 5th . Fulham are top 3 material . Nothing wrong with any of that its just the natural order of things .

Please let me be proved wrong .
We have about the same chance as a fighter against a boxer.

We're capable of landing a knock out blow but they're equally capable of playing us off the park.

I'm going to enjoy my two days away with my Blades family, whatever happens :)

Absolutely no reason why we can’t get a result providing we don’t play with the mindset we seemed to have at Wolves. It was as if we expected to be beaten despite Wolves great performance on the night. Without being gung ho we need to give them something to worry about. We have already shown we can get in behind them this season. Pity about our fitness issues as I’d have gone for Leon up top with Brooks sat just behind him

If we really believe that we can't beat Fulham, then what in the world are we doing in the championship in the first place? They are in good form at the moment, but that doesn't make them invincible,we have won as many games as they have this season,17,we have a very good chance, they have failed to win 18 of their 35 games, bloody hell why are they held in such high regard !!!!

But at home they've won their last 8.

Those of us who are pessimistic by nature will say they are in unstoppable home form and will beat us.

Those who are optimistic by nature will say that all winning runs come to an end and they are due a defeat. Why not against us.
I'm a natural optimist but I subscribe to both those statements :)

Because they're the in-form team in the division with the most in-form player in the league?

Can't do it, don't even try.

Seriously, of course we have a chance. We might be underdogs but we're teams in the same division. I can take a defeat on the chin. What I hope is that we make a good game of it. Even if we lost, the game at the Lane was one of the best to watch in many a year. Both sides playing quick, flowing, football and going all out to score goals. That's the kind of football I love to watch.

Probably the hardest game we have left. Can’t see past a defeat so let’s not go chucking the toys out again if it happens. If we get something it’s a bonus.

Don't chuck the toys out? How will some get through Tuesday evening if they can't sacrifice themselves on the altar of despair?

I just hope it's not as cold. River Cafe beckons!

Fucking hell here we go again. First Brentford, now Fulham. United will not lose this match, I think you'll find the mental fortitude of Wilder and the squad is a lot greater than that of this forum.

You can't say things like that on here. Get a grip and man down.

They'll hammer us. They're too good.

If we get a draw, I firmly believe we will make the play offs

They're the in form team at the moment. We've gonna have to be at our best all over the pitch to get a result. They looked a little shaky in defence against derby so gives me a bit of optimism!!. They don't need any help scoring so we need to be strong defensively. I think we're more than capable of getting a point which would be a good result in my view?. UTB

As much as we shouldn't go into meltdown if we lose. we also shouldn't be over optimistic about our play off chances if we get a good result. We have won big games this season and then gone on to play poorly against so called weaker teams such as Bolton, Forest, QPR, Hull etc.

The oldest cliche in football........one game at a time.

I think theres an argument they are better than Wolves and Wolves swept us aside.

We've had the weekend off, the snow is melting and KFC are selling chicken again. I'm sure the lads have used the extra rest time fully to their benefit.

Just get Crewe to cancel Shaun Millers’ contract, sign him up on a free and we’ll beat them, just need to get the Ref to play 120 minutes, easy!

I'm a bit discombobulated. Just as we have all calmed down from the post Hull angst and decided that rather than being a busted flush, instead we are pushing for the play offs... Now I'm being asked whether we have any chance of beating another team in the same division.

It's all very confusing, and unfortunately (with a nod to Fanny magnet ) I'm not even in drink.
