The edge.
Ok,so the automatic place is looking out of our hands,so should we play it steady by resting players to freshen them for the play-offs?without risking injuries and further suspensions?.
Or guns blazing hoping the top 3 will faulter.?
Interesting.

Already in the playoffs barring a miracle. Let's not have any regrets and just go for it

Go for the win on Saturday and see where we are.

If we win both of our next 2 there is no combination of results that mean we are out of the race by the final day. therefore we should continue to go for the win until we don`t get one then re-assess.

Maybe the reason that "final day" results don't "go for us" is because we have always been a little short of where we needed to be to take full advantage.

Go for it so we take that mentality in to the play offs

Going for it just might right the play offs off

Even if we win the next two games we could be out of it final day

We are in the play offs so nothing to lose, may as well go not only for wins but loads of goals too.

Go for it while its still possible.

Coz lets face it once auto's are out of reach we may as well ask to be dropped to 7th and let another club take our place.

Unleash the full power of Sheffield United and begin by annihilating Pompey 1 0.

We said that last season.

Different manager, different style of football etc.

No we can't. If we win our next two we will be on 80 points.

Donny could be on 84, so we couldn't catch them.
Bournemouth could be on 82, so we could catch them.
Brentford could be on 81, so we could catch them.

It can't be in our hands, but if we win the next two we will have a chance onthe last day if other results go for us...

Attack , Attack ,Attack , Attack , Attack , better to go down tryin rather than wimping out .
The great only appear great because we are on our knee's , let us arise .

We have to go for it. Get some momentum going for the play offs.

No go for the win. If we dont & results go our way but we only draw or loose then we will be gutted.

You go for it, no point resting anyone at this stage of the season it will do more damage than good.
You either rest players throughout the season, or halfway through and give them a decent break. You can't rest players now, and expect them to be back and sharp in 2-3 weeks time.

We go for it reight proper. We win today and Tuesday, get bramall lane rocking next week and it's all to play for.
The scene is set...
It's the 95th minute and we have had a frustrating day against Preston, hitting the post 6 times and having 3 goals disallowed for offside. The final whistle goes at Brentford as Donny comfortably secure promotion in a 2-0 win. Then....news filters through that Tranmere have beaten Bournemouth - the solitary goal coming from a Brett Pitman own goal.
With one last roar from the kop, the ref takes a look at his watch just as Matt Hill steams forward, skips past one, past a second tackle then gets floored inside the box by the on rushing goalkeeper. The ref blows for a penalty. Barry Robson has gone off with cramp. BDTBL gasps as one as the 4th official indicates a substitution: David Unsworth steps forward and removes his tracksuit.....

We need to go into the play-offs with some momentum, but I would hate to see mcdonald or murphy get injured as they are our only outlets!

I think we should play it really badly, creating a false sense of security into the enemy, so that when we meet Yeovil or whoever in battle, we'll really show them what we're made of.

Good tactic Blades!
