Extrapolate the last 10 games DDLDDLWLWL to the 20 remaining = 20 more points

59 points might not be enough to get into a relegation dog fight but Fuck me that is so far short of adequate it's taking the piss.

You might be satisfied with that BTL but I am certainly not!
It's very difficult to see it changing that much in the last 20 games since we still have no goals in us - nothing in midfield at all so we are praying for Done to click on day 2 and Murphy to do the business on his own in every game from now until the end of the season. That is more like wishful thinking than careful calculated planning - It's still a clusterfuck whichever way you measure it and if we don't even get into the play off positions at the very least then someone wants fucking shooting. Epic Fail of gargantuan proportions.


...and don't give me any of that divine right rubbish either - it's just not fucking good enough after 4 years languishing in this shit hole division.

so we are going to continue in a bad run , the new players yet to play wont make any difference , the fact we get to play some home games v easier opposition has no bearing

We are 8th because we have played 2 less than most , no other reason

mk dons fans if they are like ours will no dount be asking for robinsons head if they are a tenth as knee jerk as some of our fans , losing at bradford the tossers

perhaps the cup games did distract us , if and its a big if we extrapulate our cup form and go up will you eat the humble pie your ridiculous outburst deserves

The making us favourites was ridiculous at the seasons outset , even our climb up the league last season fell short of being convincing , Play offs was our zenith and our best chance

so we lost to preston in a replay who gives a monkeys , gills defeat was tough to take , but new manager and a hit and hope payed off shit happens


end of february will give us the real look at our chances
march looks a good month for us , on

tick - pre season is no judge of form
tick - wait till 10 games in before any realistic indicator of form is justifiable
tick - give more time for the new lads to settle - so many changes it's difficult for it to gel
tick - we're creating chances we're just unlucky in front of goal
tick - so much possession we're bossing games but we still lost/drew again
tick - easy games coming up like Gillingham away - worst team to play at Bramall Lane all season - oops - 2-0
tick - oh it can't continue to be as bad as it has been - that's just not possible

We're actually 8th because we have been shite the last 10 league games bar the brilliance of Murphy 2nd half versus Swindon, no other reason

Indeed they were. In fact there was an undercurrent last night and if the goals had not come the mood would have darkened.

A number of fans near us howled every time we played the ball backwards. Mind you, Clough did respond and visibly joined the clamour in the second half.

In my own mind I think there's a time and a place to protest about steady safe possessional play and surely it's not when we are 4-1 up.

Ken, Ken, Ken, what are you shouting for? Get someone to stroke you mate (not me though, I'm all for a bit of male bonding but not in the Grecian sense), or massage that furrowed brow (only if you're wrinkly of course), but stop shouting.......at this rate you'll give an aspirin a headache.

Get the message, craphole of a division, no get up and go, no sense of motivation from within the club etc etc etc, but as Graf said above, keep calm mate. Ever thought of being the founder member of Blades For Justice? A bit like that Father's mob, but with a bit more of a cutting edge?

Do you know sometimes in life you just have to get your frustrations off Yer chest? - Then it's all cathartic and the like?

Of course everything you said can't be denied. It's a shambles, a disgrace, and like you, it's unfathomable that we get the crowds we do under such circumstances.

Failed at being a cat paramedic On Sunday early doors. Did a reasonable job of being a grievance councillor and managed to do a competent job as a grave digger on Sunday afternoon. All that whilst prepping & cooking a leg of lamb with all the trimmings.

Luckily I didnt bury the lamb.

Think the cup run gave us a false / wrong impression , were some of us thought , we were better , than we actually are. The bookies put us as favourites and the majority of us believed them , as they don't usually get it drastically wrong.

The only positives out of the cup run , is that it has raised our profile , and got some dosh in the coffers . The taxi drivers in London now talk about SUFC , and not Ched .

Us and the players have just got to keep going , and get in the play offs. Building is building , but we need to build in the championship not league 1. Every game , every week , every month is mega critical . Theres no rest bite , or room for mistakes / loss of form .

The good thing about the play offs , we certainly wont be the bookies favourites , which for once , may be a advantage.
