I thought that yesterday March showed he could cope with mens football but that he frequently held onto the ball far too long

Fair point. I just think there were 2 or 3 occasions where Soumare nearly got robbed, which would have let B'ham in on the break. You're right about our passing - it was pretty bad.

We've just looked exposed through the middle every game, Hamer just isn't effective in the middle because Peck is working on his own.

Its a sad decline so far when the players like Cooper, Burrows, Peck, Hamer and Campbell have gone from top of the league for much of last season to bottom as it stands now

Also depends what you class as a "bust-up", football isn't stuck in the 70s/80s or arguably under Warnock at our training ground. A "bust-up" in the modern era could be simply 2 players having a heated discussion about differences of opinion. Plus we are taking a "trusted source" at face value, their Twitter account that offers "trusted EFL coverage" joined X (Twitter) in January 2025 and has 511 followers, hardly massive pedigree. Using my source of google if you google "Djibril Soumare and Sydie Peck were involved in a training ground bust-up" the only links it can find is to that X account with no other coverage. You would imagine at least the Daily Stir or Yorkshire Post would have something.

It’s also the case at pretty much every professional club that the players have occasional bust-ups. They’re usually storm in a teacup things and are over as soon as they’ve begun.

All that said, it’ll become clearer at 6.45pm on Friday when our team is published. Soumaré should be in there in the heart of the midfield.
