If people are offended at being treated like fucking idiots, blame the ones who are acting like fucking idiots in the first place.

and if you tell the fucking idiots they are fucking idiots, the fucking idiots want to have a pop and knock your block off - whether you are a Blade or not (ie Wembley last year as an example)

If the fucking idiots in charge (wearing blue) actually DEALT with the fucking idiots causing trouble in the first place and PROPERLY, then we, the innocent fucking idiots, would then have a peaceful life and there would be no need for the OP in the first place.

Rant over - nowt meant to you Linz.

When I read the headline I assumed they were getting their message in early for the Chezzy match. God knows how patronising the message and over policing for that is going to be

The fact that it may very well be a precursor for a playoff game, the boys in blue may very well practice the Bramall Lane blockage again. If they can pull them out for 3K dingles fans, it could be the same for Chezzie.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them out tomorrow.

when they say disorder wont be tolerated , are they on about my tax returns as I honestly haven't had chance to finish them yet

I have it on good authority that the kick-off for the Chessy game is going to brought forward from 12:15pm to 8am, just as the Wetherspoons opens ;)

I read it as a call to all of us who have the sense we were born with to have the confidence in the club to report issues and that they'll be taken seriously.

Reports can be made to the stewards or for abuse, via Kick it Out. If you don't feel comfortable reporting on the day, take a seat number & row. We've apparently got one of the best CCTV systems available on the Kop, meaning retrospective action is possible as long as they know where to look.

And none of this "we're all Blades" bollocks. I don't want coked up racist dickheads sitting anywhere near me. If sensible fans can work with the club and police to get them banned, I'm all for it.

I sincerely hope there is no trouble. I've not seen any in ages, but am aware of the incident during the Fleetwood match and if Plod can get the person responsible great, using proper proportionate investigative policing. My concern rather is that the 20,000 plus will be treated as cattle as we move to and from BDTBL (I save my key rant regarding this subject for security at airports..).

If it's all quiet, then perhaps plod can check a few mini-cabs in case there's anything untoward going on.

And of course, should the Police start acting ultra vires, as they did against Barnsley, you've got the details for Amanda Jacks FSF in the other thread...

An outbreak of good sense on the Forum. Sensible stuff Linz.

There was a bit of trouble at Bradford away, I saw it and can assure people that them Bradford fans chasing a coach load of fans with kids and women on deserve all that they get tomorrow and I sincerly mean it.

From OS a few minutes ago:
'
Sheffield United is advising fans intent on causing disorder at this weekend's Sky Bet League One fixture v Bradford City at Bramall Lane that disruptive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

The teams take to the pitch at 3pm and fans should expect to see a significant police presence in and around the ground in a bid to deliver an enjoyable and safe environment for all.

Any anti-social behaviour, drunk and disorderly conduct or violent disorder will be policed, swiftly and robustly. More than 20,000 supporters are expected to attend the game on Saturday, with around 2,500 Bradford City fans predicted to arrive in Sheffield.

So expect SYPD to blow the budget on helicopters, 'peace walls' etc. in this game that is showing no signs of being 'high risk' whatsover. (Until the cops let 2,500 Bradford fans straight out onto Bramall Lane at the final whistle...)

Meanwhile, Greville Janner has dementia.

Janner and his family have friends in high places , and more will be kept in house , with no prosecutions and press censorship ,due to issues it will create for the government and establishment overall . One rule for one comes to mind.

I think SYP are giving us a gypsies warning from intelligence they have received from the football Hooligan Special Unit . However like always with SYP , they work on draconian measures , with the pretence every fan is a potential hooligan , and they cannot go wrong , with act first , ask questions after.

The PR side of SYP is abysmal , but do they care , do they bollocks . As the TV documentary said , they are the hardest crew in Yorkshire with zero tolerance . If there is trouble on Saturday , i just hope no decent , law abiding fans are in the wrong place , at the wrong time , as the front line riot squad easily become trigger happy , even on quite days , and on days potentially like saturday , you can become quilty until you prove yourself innocent . In saying that , as we all know the blades have a hardcore number of followers ( not said fans ) , and they don't sit on the kop.

Its all thanks to dickheads like this

All us racists and thugs on the kop. How many on here actually go on the kop ? Sure, I was aware of the assault during the Fleetwood game, which actually happened at t'other side from where I sit/stand, but its not really

In all honesty I've heard and seen worse things in the Arnold Laver (?) stand than on the kop. I also never hear racist comments or chanting, perhaps I'm a bit mutt and jeff. It is a bit of a cliché to blame any bad behaviour on us kopites

Looking forward to a bit of a gargle in the Sheffield Tap tomorrow with the Bratfud fans before the match

Agree with that Cahill. I heard some racist chanting towards someone sitting down at the front of the Kop, about 25 years ago. And no sooner had it started than the majority of Kopites started singing that "E's a Blades". Just right. I don't wish to be judged other than my choice of football team.

I hope I don't hear it tomorrow, how do I explain that to HB Jnr with the lads he plays football with?

All I can hope is that there's no racism tomorrow. We need to be attracting people of all skin shades, and tones, and if anyone starts being racist about Bradford..well who knows..they may get a pasting sometime tomorrow.
Do fans actually chant or shout racial abuse at matches?
I personally haven't heard any for years.
I know it's rife in Eastern Europe but they are a wee bit behind us

Yep. I reported a couple myself at the reverse fixture earlier on in the season.

And the reason the Kop is singled out is because, as far as I'm aware, that is the area of the ground the recent bans have come from.

Not

Not heard any for a while but it goes on Ive no doubt at all. Some of the dross that attend matches generally can't help themselves. Empty vessels spout most racism as it were.

To be fair to the police as a Leeds resident, I can confirm Bradford are certainly on par with Harrogate Railway and Guiseley AFC in the West / North Yorks hoolie notoriety stakes.

One can only imagine the extent of military planning going into the impending match against Chesterfield; I've no doubt tensions are seen to be running sky high between the fans... (yawn)

Really makes my blood boil that shit.
I remember early early eighties when all that banana bollocks was around we used to stand on the John St terrace some numpties started at it and we had a few black lads with our crew real top lads still see them to this day.
Needless to say it didn't go down well with us.

If the Kop is a problem then why is the steel answer to the problem wall not deployed on Shorham St?

Bloody like it . Yes i have had a look at the weather forcast and will be taking it to the match .:p

South Yorkshire's finest won't want to be seen laying down on the job. Blanket bans are what is needed to put this to bed-spread them out far and wide, especially for those two-sheets to the wind.
