I'd say there have definitely been times when the opposition have done similar things and not been carded though

It's 9 reds for Blackpool, 4 for second yellows and five straight reds. We've had three, two of which went to Wes.

Team I watch on a Sunday (best not say too much in case it attracts any shit) play in the Rotherham league. It has been intimated, and I’ve seen plenty of evidence of it, that the refs have it in for us.

Christ, nine red cards for Blackpool? No wonder they're going down. Even Wednesday only managed 7 in their relegation season.

Whilst (IMO) we have been on the shitty end of really bad (and I mean really fucking bad) officiating this season, I am actually quite glad that have become slightly dirty bastards. For a while it felt like we were a bit of a soft touch and came away empty handed from teams who could rough us up.

Things will need to change next season of course, but it's helped us promoted now, so no complaints.
