larkymasher, I didn't mean it to be harsh on Reed as he is a player I have always liked and still have hopes he might come good for us at the senior level.

It was more a comment on how far Chessie had fallen. Two years ago it was all about the playoffs for the Championship and now they are at the bottom of the league. Their current standard must be pretty poor to be in that position, hence Reed only needs to be slightly better to stand out.

I'd be happier if he was their best player and they were ripping that league up as it would be a better measure of his quality.
