Following on from the thread about season tickets, lets see if we can get a represenative figure as to how many of us had a season ticket last year and either renewed or didn't.

Moved away from Sheffield a couple of years ago and kept my ticket last year but only made it back for three or four games. Didn't renew this year but only due to geography.

Can you add another choice? We renewed but moved from South Stand to kop as there was no way we were paying extra after last year!

I didn't have a season ticket last year but I will probably buy a flexiticket this year

Yes I renewed, but more than that, for the first time it was actually me who paid for it!

Had a season ticket for over twenty years (apart from when I worked there for a bit as a student - didn't need one then ;)), and haven't renewed.

I am a strong man of principle. I said I wouldn't renew this season especially if Blackwell was still in charge.
But hey everyone can change their mind can't they:confused:

Well i haven't missed a home game for nigh on 9 seasons now but this year i wont be there for any! I not really sure if this is a bad thing as i'm wholly pessimistic about our chances of anything this year! If i'm totally honest i reckon the rot is in and we'll start slipping now. We've had a shining period (for us anyway!).

...bah humbug!

Said at the end of last season I wouldn't be renewing after the complete lack of entertainment and I've stuck by it. I'll go to some games, but if there isn't a marked improvement, then it won't be many.

25 years after moving to Newcastle I've had enough of travelling on Tuesdays so I haven't renewed. Thinking about the six game ticket though.

Of course I've renewed. Long is the way, and hard, that out of hell leads up to light.

Not renewed this season cos out of 23 home fixtures I'm working for 14 of them and I only get 19 Annual Leave days a year. I'm a signalman in a 24/7 signalbox. Last year cost me 9 days leave.

While ever I can afford it or am physically able too get there I will renew, once a blade always a blade. Of corse this is a counter intuitive argument to me believing I am an educated rational person. But an addiction is an addiction.

Me and my 12 and 9 year old lads have renewed, I couldn't imagine Saturday without going to the match when the seasons on. I'm optimistic about the season but then again I always am, I remember booking our holiday to eurodisney just as the season started two years ago and making sure we would be back for wembley( just in case ). I'm getting the same feeling this year. And yes I know it will all end in tears.

I've renewed, and there was never any question that i wouldn't. Been a regular at Bramall Lane for more years than i can remember, and will be for a good few more seasons to come, despite missing a handful of matches every year due to work.

This year might be good for my attendance as i'm gonna be starting a 9 month, Mon-Fri Training Course at work in September.

Me and my son have renewed again. Here's hoping for some free-flowing attacking carpet football. I do the lottery every week too, not won a carrot on there either..(YET!!)

I renewed and had a season ticket last year but a lot of people I know have not bothered this time around

Had a season ticket for 8 years, but last season was it for me. I went to 1 of the last 5 matches i was that bored with it. I spent the season ticket money on a fridge freezer. Bastard things already broke down. I'm blamin Blades for that.

Purchased a season ticket this season after not having one for a few seasons (didn't renew in 08/09 to save money for wedding). Feeling optimistic, last time I got a season ticket after missing a few years we got promoted!

had one last year, but haven't renewed, only reason being, I work quite a few Saturdays, so wouldn't get value for money

Me and 5 family members have renewed. All the mates have renewed. One miserable bastard in the pub hasn't - he's the only one I know.

UTB

After much ummin and arrring and convincing myself that i couldn't afford it, i decided not to renew. Then me and my dad got talking about the Blades, and i rubbed it on thick that i was gutted i couldn't afford a ticket this year, then pops offered to put up the money and for me to pay it back over 12 months. How could i refuse!! Good old Dad!!
