Fulham dont own Lookman. He is on loan from a German club. Dont know how much Fulham are paying him but it wont be as daft as Spurs paying for Bale's loan. Will he save Fulham from the drop, we wait and see.
 
Lookman is one of those Londoners who think everywhere outside London is farmland
apparently we are mainly shepherds and cow herders up here
no way would he choose us over Fulham

You talk as if Wilder is against quality on the ball with ability to take a man out of the game,if you listen to Wilder he often says we lack quality.
We came through the divisions with a great team ethic lacking individual flair ,it has caught up with us .
The players you talk of are expensive the costs were beyond us in the championship .I dont doubt we have tried to bridge the gap John Swift is one who surfaced.
Lookman is a quality player ! The kind I think Wilder will be looking for !! as a Southerner and on wages we find beyond us Fulham would probably be his choice.
We just have to keep looking for what we want ! Prem money will help but as been said prices get inflated due to our two prem seasons.
Championship is where we will be looking and maybe foreign players too as the Prince has said a change in transfer policy is needed,going to be a interesting summer again .

Look at Bogle, the one successful signing he has made this season.

He has a huge amount of quality but has barely featured.
 



There was an excellent article in The Guardian re Lookman. He is an incredibly articulate, and intelligent young man, who is well advised and know what he wants. Everton tried to loan him out to Derby but he didn't want to drop to the Championship, instead he wanted to play in the Bundesliga, to develop his football but also himself. He liked the idea of the Red Bull project and engineered the move to Leipzig and an excellent contract. He knew it was a long term relationship for him and that he would be loaned out. He wouldn't have joined us for financial and footballing reasons, but is part of the Red Bull thinking still whether in Germany or elsewhere. The only thing that doesn't make sense was how bad he was v us in League one during the 1-1 game!
