i havent listened to radio sheffield in a while but looking on from the outside its hard not to sympathise with the presenters on there ,sheffield football fans get let down by a significant number of mongs who turn every football debate into a childish willy waving contest about who is bigger

its like watching the two stupidest kids in school argue about who is stupidest it really lets us all down ,some of the language used is moronic and talk of each other as being tramps ,vile ,odious ,animals do the people who make these comments not realise they are talking about their own city ? its embarassing and everyone outside sheffield laughs at us

every time there is some kind of vote about sheffields best team of the last year /decade /history it is immediately hijacked by the massive on porktork who have some mission in life to convince evryone they are the biggest club in the world and we are not much better constantly engaging them in this stuff i get pigs on my facebook who wouldnt say boo to a goose after 10 pints constantly giving me a grief when they win a few and i rise to it ,i know i shouldnt but i do

anyway i have lost my point a bit here but the presenters have to deal with so much twattery that they probably dont know any better ,agree about staton though the guy should do his interviews dressed as ossie owl

The point is though that every local team has their 'Brian the Blade' equivalent - can't seem to get enough of his own voice, an embarrasment to most supporters of the team and the worlds leading authority on the bleeding obvious! and Radio Sheffield can't give them enough airtime!!! Every night we have the same idiots come on spouting rubbish after rubbish, how big their club is or the classic ' Massive Praise for the ******* I haven't been to the match today but they sounded great on the commentary' relying on morons like Giddings, Staton, Walker and Bennett with expert summaries from Blackwell, Pearson,Smith and the likes - I exempt Keith Edwards from that shower - he at least talks 80% sense!
The show is tired, boring and doesn't serve anything other than to massage the presenters egos and give airtime to numpties like 'Brian the Blade' and his merry men!

Evening, Okay I must confess I've got mates who are Wednesday, and, I have no great love for united after the battle. HOWEVER I do sometimes listen to your phone in when ours is too wolves or villa centric. Listened last night in fact, heard the presenter give 2 inane stories about a squirrel and a duck. Then 2 of your fans came on and tried to make valid points only to be interupted rudely by the presenter who wasn't able to debate with them. that's what phone ins are debates, if you can't debate the reasonable points raised without being rude to the caller or cutting them off, they're failing to do their job.

As for the willy waving contest between your two clubs, as an outsider it strange. Mutual dislike and disrespect I get, but this who gets a bigger crowd thing. Its weird. Who cares? the Molineaux has more seats than the Hawthorns. Does this affect me? No it doesn't. we are Premiership, they're Championship. it means a larger number of inbreds can see a lower quality of football. Plus we own them in the BCD and when push comes to shove thats all that matters.

I don't listen as much as i used to, but that is mainly down to Nob Staton. He is a bell end, and absolute prick of the highest order, and i don't like listening to the long, boring monologues from Brian the Blade.

I listened in the other night when James Shield was on, and i thought he was one of the few people who speaks on their with an air of authority, and actually knows a bit about the subject matter in hand.
