Yes, in so much as they have been injury prone, unfit, unmotivated and very difficult to shift and replace. None have them could justify an extension, and know that SUFC is the biggest pay deal they'll probably ever get. Some of them have also caused problems behind the scenes as they know their time is up. You could call them dead men walking. Look at how Flynn's performances and availability for games have suddenly metamorphosed now he fears for his future. That shows the level of professionalism at the club.

No, agreed. But in June he was taking over someone endes players who were a mile off form in the second half of last season, and minus the player of that season.

I'm not blind to the poor job that's been done, but more concern should be paid towards continued poor player recruitment.

Not being able to turn around this bloated, overepaid shower of shite squad should be viewed for what it is.

I would be embarrassed and ashamed if a manager brought on a young rookie before me to play up front . Then I would think , I am getting well paid, could be on my way at the end of the season , why should I care a shit .

It gets more difficult if the only sensible move is to get rid if just about all your players, and they are coming to the end of their contracts.

Lots of them look like employees who've been served redundancy notices and are seeing their time out. So many so that the situation is almost unique.

I'm not sure what Adkins can do about that.
