Did Chris Wilder

I did wonder that later last night too on the way home. You can't be a born and bred Blade and not enjoy those moments, even if you are managing someone else at the time. I bet he loved the late winner for United.

Was pondering this myself.

It must have felt weird though, knowing that we just knocked him out of the playoffs.

I freely admit that I am not looking forward to the Boro game. I wonder how he feels about it?

It's the only one that I'm not. It will just feel a bit weird and I have a horrid feeling that the emotion of the occasion, with Wilder returning, will get in the way of the game.
The wife’s a Boro fan and her and her mates have that ‘feel good feeling’ we had in Wilders early days. I’m certainly not looking forward to it.

At the minute he must be focused on Boro but if we did pip them come end of the season think he'll raise a Birra Moretti

If Hecky hadn’t turned us into the form team of the league it would have been a Chrisseh Widler love in against Boro. As we’ve been decent he might get some stick. I don’t care either way, he’ll probably get a mild round of applause from me and then abuse during the game as he’ll be showing off I’m sure.

Blades players will be ultra motivated to get one over Mr Wilder in next weeks fixture so I’m looking forward to it however there’s in form Millwall to tackle first.
Tough game.

Forest as well before the Boro game.

Hopefully our players will have the mentality that 'Wilder no longer wanted to manage us, possibly even thought he had become better than us so lets get one over on him'.

I watched the Boro game the other day and cheered their goals, cracking side to watch and i have lots of Boro mates. Great to see them doing well again.

I'll always be grateful for what he did for us. And it still astounds me how many can slag him off so much given he dragged us to L1 to the PL.
Even now a big reason we are now performing in the top end of Championship is due to the foundations and even signings he made.

I don't care really how Boro do unless it effects us. I wish Wilder well but all I'm bothered about is the blades.

Hecky's is starting to get something like the best out of Brewster and Berge, and clearing out the bad buys, With the players he's brought into the team is now making a fist out of what Mr Wilder could not, and walked away from.
Like most fans I'll never forget what he did for us, but for the period of the game to me he's just the opposition...... :tumbleweed:

Knill and Page were sat across from me during the game. Knill missed the goal as he left 10 mins early, page stayed and supports the blades. Seems like wilder is keeping away from the lane.
