Using the wrong word occasionally is easy to do, using them for 90% of the time takes a certain kind of special.

Oh dear.....without examples of what you describe as 'consistent nonsense' it's impossible to reply, so naturally I won't bother. I'm neither embarrassed or wriggling, you do seem to interpret to suit your own schismatic idea of how things should be. It might be a good idea to take a deep breath and embrace common-sense for a change.

That's about the long and the short of it Pierre. I try not to comment on other poster's use of english, as long as I understand their intent that's all that matters to me. As for Barny attempting to stir some kind of pot, better to ignore as attention-seeking seems to be his chief preoccupation for being here.

The evidence is in the reply. Which of my questions were answered directly? They simply weren't. That's called 'speaking around the issue' or more commonly 'wriggling out of the question'. To me that's solid evidence to state it is consistent nonsense, as not one bit of it was of any worth, as nothing answered the questions originally posed. Ever though of becoming a politician?

I bet you were the school bore when you were younger.....as for answering your questions, #23 is an example that you might wish to return to, as for everything that followed, you've just used meaningless repetition to compound your inability to state what it is you feel is important. To paraphrase, either shit or get off the pot man.

I did genuinely love your comment, 'To me that's solid evidence...', well, that's done and dusted then, you agreeing that it's evidence. Seriously, what you've described is referred to as conjecture, you aren't in possession of complete information so you're using conjecture, hope that helps.

What are these questions you're referring to? Just post the number of the post in question and I'll reply. All you've done is repeat and hector, a minor 'talent' but one that's common on a football thread.

Not exactly, no. More like Cresswell on speed. Or, from what I can remember of him, Jeff King.
Bear in mind I saw him in a higher division, and mainly under Clough, so his technique may be less of an issue in L1.
I'd have thought, like Sharp, that he could have gone to one of the lower Championship clubs so he must be fairly confident in Adkins' ability and our chances of promotion.
I suspect a lot of his work will benefit Done, Sharp and McNulty (maybe even Hig if Adkins goes for the double battering ram approach) more than himself, which is why I think some of the more negative supporters will concentrate more on what he can't do than what he does.

Asking a poster if they've ever answered a question directly is surely for others to answer. You seem to confuse your own lack of satisfactory response with an absolute. I think that what's being revealed here is your own distinct lack of understanding. You get the reply you deserve, is that direct enough?

It's not for you to determine whether another poster has answered....what's that aggressive and incorrect word you use, directly?....if you're incapable, which you appear to be, of grasping what's said, then of course you'll go round and around, repeating the same ineffectual questions, as if that somehow gives substance to your own weaknesses. As I said, you get the reply you deserve. Having seen how other posters have managed to take your measure it's little wonder you write as you do. Stop being a numpty and take your talent for being an 'A' grade irritant elsewhere, it would be deeply appreciated.

Ok, chill out mate, I think some calm needs to be restored here, it's nice to have a discussion but that's slightly over the top for a debate on a football forum I think. You seem to be getting quite worked up over this, put it into perspective, this debate really isn't all that significant. I asked a few questions that I was expecting more of a direct answer to and still to this post I don't think I got that but who am I to tell you how to reply I suppose? and that is all it is really. It seems this really has got to you which wasn't my intention, the intention was for a simple football debate, one of many with you it seems. Contrasting opinions, after all that's what these forums are for mate.

Another Oh Dear response....and fairly typical to employ the 'calm down' card when your point was answered clearly and precisely. You said I hadn't replied, I showed you where I had, it's not my problem if you fail to look at the posts you receive, makes you seem lazy. You persisted with your increasingly nonsense questions, even though they'd been replied to earlier. Do pay attention, it would save you writing confused posts and expecting other posters to comprehend what point you're attempting to make.

Just to dampen your expectations, it would take far more than your circular rhetoric to upset me. All I did was give you the answers you deserved, now do both of us a favour, don't bother replying as I'm busy with something meaningful.

Jeez, you really are silly aren't you? Post #45 provided the answers to your questions, yet you continue to maintain that no questions were answered. The fact that by saying you asked politely somehow excuses your previous aggressive and impolite posts? Don't think so, but I guess you'll find a way of twisting that to suit your increasingly feeble and inaccurate replies........remember, post #45 sets the record straight, regardless of whether you choose to accept that or not. Sammon will be a great signing for us.

Where are the negatives? His goal scoring record? He's dropping a league, he knows this is his make or break season. He has so much to lose if this goes tits up.

He's big, strong, nippy and gives 100%. We saw that yesterday. He won't give the defenders a moments piece and if you think about it, thats exactly what we need to be doing in this league with the anti footballers we see in defence in this league.

And for anyone thinking a drop in division doesn't mean goals... You're right, not always.
But when you've moved clubs for in excess of 7 figures, league one should be the least of your worries.

Think Aaron Wilbraham, terrible record for palace, no goals in 25.
Norwich? 2 in 24...
then last season he bagged 17 for Bristol having missed a chunk of the season through injury at 34.

This could be a bold move. Change of scenery and a fresh break could be exactly what he needs (and if not, he's not costing us anything). Good move for all concerned imho.
 
Hopefully he'll ge OK in league 1. Brother in law is a season ticket holder at Rotherham and he said they were not at all impressed with him there in his 15 games for them last season
