Dont they do Keep right on to the end of the road or summat.I always thought that Birmingham sang it - what do they sing?
Why does stoke sing Delilah?Dont they do Keep right on to the end of the road or summat.
I was told they sing Delilah because a pub landlady was going to lob them out of a pub if they sang anymore football songs ,so someone sand Delilah and its stuck. One for Lee Mack and david Mitchell I think.
Thatβs close to my understanding, though according to the legend it was coppers in a Derby pub telling them not to sing songs with swear words in. Delilah was on the jukebox, so they joined in with that as a wholesome alternative, apparently oblivious to the irony of the criminality involved in Delilahβs early demiseDont they do Keep right on to the end of the road or summat.

It's no Annie's Song. Do they have their own lyrics or just give it the full Tom Jones?
βShe saw my cock in my hand and she laughed no moreβ
That is an issue with loads of fans. Ours are terrible for it. The younger the fan, the quicker they go.I donβt mind them singing Delilah but they murdered it, totally tuneless, it sounded as though they were trying to finish before they had begun.
The βoh Lord Michael Brownβ was the worst for that. Sounded crap because of a missing βMichael Brown My Lord, Michael Brownβ in the middleβ.That is an issue with loads of fans. Ours are terrible for it. The younger the fan, the quicker they go.
Shit on the Villa (shit on the Villa tonight).I always thought that Birmingham sang it - what do they sing?
Amen brother...my first ever gig...Alex Harvey's version was the best. Now there was a showman.
