As a slight aside, when the media talk about the National, they often bring up Esha Ness and the National that never was in 1993. Unfortunately, for me, that always stirs up memories of a much worse sporting event on that day........................
Remember listening to it not happening just as we got back on the coach afterwards (if my memory isn't deceiving me). Presumably the match didn't kick off at 3pm or my memory definitely is deceiving me.
Well that was a load of shit mateOk I've spread £20 over all 3, see how it goes mate.

Of course Cheltenham is the Pinnacle, but I would hope you might embrace The National as the wonderful jumps handicap that it is. It is a popular institution, a race for dreams, a race for fabulous stories,(and occasionally sad ones), and being a jumps handicap with 40 runners over 4 1/4 miles, an enticing and potentially very profitable betting opportunity.I'm a massive racing fan, but not that keen on the national. I know it's the 'people's race' etc etc, and perhaps it's sports snobbery but Cheltenham is the pinnacle, that's where the elite stuff is.
Did the same thing mateOk I've spread £20 over all 3, see how it goes mate.
