Midfield looks fucking awful in opening games.

Wilder sanctions move for one of the culprits.

Assuming Wilder uses the loan window which is still very much open after today (including for loans-with-a-view-to-buy) and brings in one or two midfielders.

We should all be very happy no?

Now of course... if he doesn't...

Still hopeful after all these years.

if he doesn't he still can't pick Evans and Lundstram in the same team.

That's a win/win for me

He’s bombed the worst midfielder which is an excellent start.

That remains to be seen.

As I've stated elsewhere, I feel we're stronger than this time last season. Of course, like everyone I still want at least a couple more in (if we have to wait for loan so be it).

How does selling one make it any better?

Signing one yes, selling one just makes us even weaker because we’re a body down.
Maybe Evans is a key player in the apparent disharmony? Just guessing as I don’t even know if it’s true that he’s going to Wigan. (Just heard Max Power is leaving so ????)

Nah, that would probably leave about 75% of the Brooks money still unspent.

With the squad quality as it is, that would be pretty unacceptable.

Good news. itsinyerblood and I have both signed three year deals today. At the older end of the scale maybe but both with excellent pedigree.

I am a ball playing crowd pleasing creative midfielder with an eye for goal. Mobility is an issue for the box to box role due to me being a fat bastard. Thinking of songs won't be a problem.

itsinyerblood, a number 10, is a typical Sheffield United signing. Always injured.

SteveBlade is currently having a medical at the Psychy unit at NGH. If he comes through the electric shock treatment, he's in for Enda on Saturday.

Topplayersleave turned us down saying I'm never playing for the Blunts Mr Chansiri.

But McCabe and the Prince might not have to make up the shortfall this year, so that's some good news
Fleck and JOC sold in January and they might not have to prop us up next year either, this will be so thrilling for us

Just because I laugh and take the piss out of the worst run football club on the planet doesn't mean I'm not a fan

Keep it quiet but I’ve just signed too mate.

I’m a commanding centre half despite being only 5’7 but ever since I saw white men cant jump as teenager I’ve never looked back and believe I can fly, despite coming up to my 50 th birthday I feell I still have something to offer should JOC decide that he want a new challenge when the big dogs come knocking, it’s a free transfer and i’ll Play for peanuts my agent just phoned me to tell me the boardroom are “very keen”..

Are you a season ticket holder? Where do you sit? Up for a beer before a match with a few of us to put the pork accusations to bed for good?

You'd better ask Wilder why he hasn't spent it then?

No I don't have a season ticket anymore. I used to have one a few years ago but got fed up with them.
I usually buy a ticket for the games I want to go to so there's no definite place I sit, usually kop tickets are mostly available

I'll meet up with anybody that wants to before a game as long as they don't want to kick my head in

I think he would have if it was made available.
and how do you know it wasn't?

He definitely had a lot more available than he has spent to date unless no funds were ever there to bid for Waghorn.

There is still the loan to buy window open until the end of the month, maybe we should have another look at the situation when that closes?

Maybe one of the local media guys should ask Wilder why he spent so little of his budget?

I'm pretty sure that Chris will tell us if he's spent up once the trading window is closed.

You make a good point in that we know whatever we bid for Waghorn was available.

Wilder can shoulder some blame for not getting players in with that money at least.
