I was being sarcastic.I'll lay off when the thick twat lays off posting shite on here.
« them/it »It's sad really. Pity him/her.
O'Brien linked now from huddersfield. Will the last person in Yorkshire please turn off the lights??![]()
Ignoring the fact that there is not a single person on these forums who could give a flying fuck about Nottingham Forest, especially when it’s not even related to United in any capacity; but the fact that one of the first things you choose to do on a Sunday morning is go ‘ooh I must go on the Sheffield United forums to make limp attempts to wind up some of their fans’, says a lot about who you are as a person.O'Brien linked now from huddersfield. Stick it on ignore once the troll stops getting fed it will scurry back to its wank pit#Dick
Had his howler at home to Leeds not been cancelled out by the miraculous win at Elland Road it would have been season defining.Oh, I know I’m in the minority on this. In fact I’m pretty sure I’d end up with fanboy death threats if I posted it on Twitter. But I think he has (had?) a lot of the weaknesses you’re saying Rammers suffers with.
Shot stopping, bravery etc, all not really in doubt. But his dealing with crosses and corners was occasionally questionable. And for me, there was a massive question mark over his concentration and decision making. The difference was, he barely had these things tested at United, whereas Rammers did, constantly.
These are things you improve with experience though - maybe his game has matured now? Guess we will soon find out.
A good player and would improve you and let's be honest you need improving because take away the loanees and you were bottom of the championshipO'Brien linked now from huddersfield. Will the last person in Yorkshire please turn off the lights??![]()
Let’s not bring his mum in to thisStick it on ignore once the troll stops getting fed it will scurry back to its wank pit
Well said. He's now on ignore. What a sad and unfulfilled life you must lead. Utterly pathetic.
So was I to a certain degree; I think we both eschew the emoji. "Sarcastic" isn't the best way to describe my response, but I was definitely on the look-out for laughs and likes, plus any excuse to mention what a nobber he is.I was being sarcastic.
It’s a bloody big bit then.Just a bit of a weird cunt aren’t you
He was good in the first half of the season but post Covid, I thought he was a bit suspect at times. Even before that, his positioning wasn’t always very good. Don’t get me wrong, if we’d have gone up and were signing him, I’d be happy enough but I reckon over my life watching football I’ve seen probably 100 keepers who’ve looked great when they start but drop off. How many England keepers over the last twenty years has that happened to, never mind club level?Oh, I know I’m in the minority on this. I see Forest decided to take a massive hit on the right back spot. Aimed for Spurs-linked Djed Spence or Liverpool's Williams and ended up with some unknown from Troyes.O'Brien linked now from huddersfield. Will the last person in Yorkshire please turn off the lights??![]()
The biggest difference for you Red will be how clinical the opposition are. That’s what separates the good champ players from the prem ones being able to cut out unforced errors. So many times in our relegation season we’d lose possession in midfield and concede 5 passes later. The game moves very slowly until suddenly there’s blood in the water and you’re in trouble. We were actually really settled and organised defensively last year. The three centre backs are where I have least concern. If we add niakhate to bench cook, I think that will only make us stronger.
The wing backs are up in the air so that might change the dynamic for crosses. Is this an area where Henderson is weaker?
I don't think we can be compared at all. You had a championship side full of championship players. Apart from Henderson and Berge you just signed even more Championship players when you went up like Osborn from us.The biggest difference for you Red will be how clinical the opposition are. When we spoke about Norwood the other day that’s what keeps him from being a consistent prem player he gives the ball away too often and doesn’t have the legs to cover his own mistakes. In the championship most of the time someone else will cover or the opposition will make their own mistake in prem most of the times it’s a goal.
We stayed up the first season, you sad nobhead.I don't think we can be compared at all. You had a championship side full of championship players. Apart from Henderson and Berge you just signed even more Championship players when you went up like Osborn from us.
We're in for a couple of Huddersfield players but other than that we're buying from top leagues in Europe. That's the difference.
It was as if you knew you were coming down so bought for the Championship promotion, how's that working out for you all?![]()
Momentum. We stayed up the first season, you sad nobhead.
You don't know much about anything, something you prove every time you post. Keep going - you're too entertaining.Momentum.
I suspect we won’t be able to revisit this at a later date however I would point you to the experience of almost every other promoted side no matter where they sourced their players from.I don't think we can be compared at all. Normally promoted teams start well on a high but at some point struggle with the step up in technical ability. You might stay up you might come back down but to try and proclaim you’ll be different to other promoted sides because you’re signing players from a abroad is more than slightly disingenuous. The only team who bucked that trend were wolves with billionaire sugar daddies and an in with a very influential agent.

Second season, third season, fourth it doesn’t matter football is ruthless and unless you’ve got the financial clout to compete it’ll get you in the end. Unless you can match teams wages wise even if you do really well you’ll just get cherry picked until you have a bad year recruitment wise and then the drop is always waiting.Yep. Even if they do stay up it's always the second season that's usually harder in avoiding relegation. That will be the real test.
