If he goes back to Man U he probably won't play first team football for at least a couple of seasons if DDG stays injury free, Hendo seems to prefer playing as he's shown being willing to go out on loan for the past few seasons, he's better than 2nd fiddle and realistically not going to get picked for England if he isn't playing 1st team Premier football, Man U player or not

In numerous interviews he states he sees his future at man u, he NEVER mentions coming to us permanently
If man u put him up for sale there will be plenty of clubs bigger/richer than us who will be in for him

It was a fantastic save and in the end it got us all 3 points.

I’ve said this many times over the years and for me Clough was spot on, the goalkeeper is the most important member of the team, that’s why he signed Shilton. It’s the one position where an off day usually loses you a game and where a good performance can inspire the whole team. If we can get him next summer we should do everything we can to sign him, he‘s only going to get better.

This view all day and all night long, if there is any hope that Man U will sell we have to break the bank, this guy is the real deal and plays in the most crucial position in a team. Cloughie knew a thing or 2 about football and he never spoke a truer word

De Geas form coupled with Henderson’s form is going to make signing him difficult the fact Heaton has been ruled out for the season all but confirming his place in the Euros squad make it all but impossible to sign him.
