Saying on Sky that Wilder is talking to Ole about bringing Henderson back again next season

I actually think it’ll be the financial aspects of this that will have been the sticking point. It really wouldn’t surprise me at all if we’re having to negotiate on some sort of loan extension fee.

I've not seen the Man Utd game today, but saw Dean trending on twitter and assumed De Gea had a shocker.
 
He just keeps making mistake after mistake. In contrast Deano is getting better and better.
I’m gutted but I can’t see him coming back for a 3rd season. Hopefully we can find someone else of a similar standard. European football will help.

Man utd won't drop de gea ,even if he drops a bollock a game
 
It's looking more likely he'll stay there and get some game time if not every game. His wages must be impressive as well Man Utd's wage bill last year was 293m (all employees) I'd guesstimate he's already on twice our wage cap, which probably means if he was available he wouldn't be coming anyway.
 
That fucking utter embarrassment De Gea really isn't doing us any favours is he?

Every time he fucks up, Man U are getting what they deserve for giving him that ridiculous contract in the first place.
 

Surely they bring Henderson back? He's turned into such an assured, confident goalkeeper this season. He's made some unbelievable saves to gain us points.

It's a shame we didn't have the finances to make him permanent when we got promoted, I'm pretty sure a deal could have been done at that point. It's far too late now.
 
I met a chap who believes Henderson will be back at man u next season, he was very sure.
 
Looks unlikely I'm afraid.

Especially with De Gea under big pressure now, and with rumoured Chelsea interest.
 
When we likely to hear more about this, either way. Anyone know?
 
Nunber of pieces online today saying Man U are looking at signing Kasper Schmeichel as a ready made replacement for De Gea as Solskjaer doesn't believe Hendo is ready to start yet.

If OGS doesn’t think Hendo is ready now, he never will.

I’d be really surprised if Man U were seriously considering Schmeichel when the best young keeper in the world is on their books
 
Surely if they sign Schmeichel, Henderson will want to leave? The thing then is you’ll probably get the likes of Chelsea sniffing around.

Sadly, I think it is likely that we’ll need to move on.

If that’s the case, I can see them selling Hendo to Chelsea for £50m+
 
If Man Utd sign Schmeichel jnr then there's no way they don't sell Hendo to pay for it.

They aren't putting down that sort of outlay on top of taking a hit with De Gea whilst continuing to have Hendo on loan to us.

In the unlikely event of that scenario he'll get a new contract that we can't afford to cover anywhere the wages of.

I think it's the biggest bit of hope we've had that he could come back.

He's superb and aye, I'd agree he may be the best young keeper around. That doesn't necessarily mean he's ready to be Man U number 1 though, having his every move and mistake analysed and all over the papers. It could wreck him. Put together a highlights package of him for us this season he looks incredible. Put a highlights package together of any mistakes and over analyse it to death (as they would) and he doesn't.

I can't see any chance whatsoever they sell him. But if they give him another season to get confident, iron out anything in his game that needs looking at (near post) and maybe become England keeper, it suits them and us.
