Will Clarke/Duffy/Carruthers/Holmes/Henegan leave?

Will we send any youngsters out on loan?

PL and Championship window closes at 5pm, League One/Two, National League and the top 5 all close at midnight on the 2nd of September. IMO the deadline day should always end at midnight just for climax.

When you state top 5 does that mean France, Spain, Germany Italy etc.?

So I guess that means prem or championship teams can't buy anyone from those leagues but can sell or loan to those leagues.

Chances are then that Carruthers, Heneghan, and Holmes will be dealt with later in the window through loans or loans to buy deals, leaving Clarke and Duffy as the two that will be out the door today or staying.

As for incomings, we really need a 3rd choice keeper, it's likely we will use the Prem loan to bring in 1 (Chambers or Holgate?) and there was talk of a CM to arrive - of which I have no idea

It is not really deadline day though is it, for league one and two it is in another two weeks and that is where I'd be expecting the above mentioned players to go with the exception of Duffy. I thought Henegan had already gone?

John McGinn signed a new 5 year contract at Villa. Proper player. Good lad. So many moron clubs missed the boat with him last summer.

This demonstrates something I'm looking forward to as long as we're in the PL.

Unlike other PL clubs we won't be too snobby and aloof to go for players like this and will reap the rewards.
