CW probably saw more of DCL in competitive games than virtually anyone else . Baring this in mind , why do you , or anyone else for that matter , think CW agreed to sell him ?

Sounds like DCL has had a great game tonight. 2 goals and very unfortunate not to get his hat trick. Really looking like a talent at Everton, surely be pushing closer to becoming a starter for them. In hindsight it looks like Everton for an absolute bargain, especially for a young talented English striker.

As much as I'd love to get on my high horse about us being a selling club and how we all knew he'd be a talent. Given our current situation selling him now seems a silly error. But to be honest I really saw this coming, I never thought he was all that special, so all I can is good luck to the lad.

Pleased to see DCL's doing well at Everton, but he could have just as easily disappeared without trace. Based on how much they paid for Lookman we let him go a bit cheap, but 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful gift!

He scored a couple of goals in the league cup, come back at the end of the season and lets see how he's done.
