To think Boro had a 4% chance back then

Eg if the scenario played out 100 times they would fail on 96 attempts...

I don't even see them losing a game now apart from maybe against Burnley.

The game at Sunderland is a must-win.can't afford to lose again. Hecky must make changes. if he goes with the same lineup. we will lose again and if boro win we will well and truly be in the shit. Cant sack the manager no cunt there to sack him. that prince does not give a fuck. he just wants to get shut of the club.

I actually disagree.

It's a must win if Boro win on Tuesday.

However, if they conspire, somehow, to lose, then a point becomes a decent result.

Unfortunately, we can't play these games in a vacuum - what Boro do will dictate how good a result certain results are.

Especially in games where they play before us. Indeed the pressure might be argued to be on them to win on Tuesday and maintain their challenge.

Selly oak Blade.
I don't agree they are at home for the next two games.on current form, they should win both games.
Our form is very poor I think we will struggle at Sunderland tomorrow. from our point of view, must-win for us.
Boro could be two points ahead of us on Saturday evening. you don,t need to be Einstein to work that out.
I would love the blades to win at Sunderland. we need to start picking up points otherwise we will miss out on auto promotion.

We won at Leeds in 2019 and then promptly lost to Bristol City, at home, the weekend after. And then drew with Millwall (a game you could see the collective pressure get to our players in the second half)

Pressure gets to all teams - weird stuff happens at this time of the season.

Don,t Agree with selly oak Blade. The players can take the pressure week in and week out they should be used to it.
The problem could be picking the wrong players and getting the tactic wrong, thats down to the Manager.

Why would you want to sack a manager that's took us to 2nd in the league and a Fa cup quarter final

Boro who’ve had three pens in two games? In one of those games should’ve been down to ten men? Should’ve been 2 down to Swansea?

They’re a good team but I’m not jumping on this bandwagon that they’re now some unstoppable force.

I'm not saying it will happen - just that it can happen.

The best teams - the ones who achieve what they want to more often that not - are the ones that handle the pressure best - as evidenced by both us and Leeds in 2019 the pressure gets to players - they should be able to handle it, but we both had results that you could chalk off to underperformance due to the pressure - us against Bristol C and Millwall - Leeds against us, Wigan and Brentford.

Maybe Boro don`t have a wobble - in which case they will almost certainly go up.

But if they do have a wobble, we have to get out of our own wobble so we can take advantage.

yes, I did say thatTazzy held my hands up on that one. however, the is a thread Hecky gone yet so I'm not the only one.
but really so what that is just a opinion.
