I know nothing about him at all but he looked ok, did alot of time wasting and faking injury admittedly but I have thought for some time we need to be a bit more 'street wise' we are too nice at times. His kicking was suspect though.

I'd be happy with Randolph, he's a reliable keeper at this level and £2.5mil is small change even for the Championship, particularly for a keeper of his ability.

I think we could do with some solid championship experience in that position though and 34 isn't exactly ancient for a GK.

Might be the best we can get under the circumstances, unless there are younger PL keepers available on loan.

excellent keeper 2.5m is chicken feed given a loan fee for a decent keeper would be 1 to 1.5m anyway. wages possible sticking point but if we got him in hed be an instant upgrade one one of te top 3 keepers in the championship. Wed get 2 good seasons out of him too so give sus a little stability at the position and let us address the bigger problems before finding a long term solution in nets.
