Just breaking news on sky sports says that Ferguson has been tapped up by another club and that's why his job was terminated.??

Stamford, I'm not a million miles away from the town of 'ancient charm' and in fact live in a 'historic market town'. Having met DF several times and on each occasion found him more ignorant than the time before I have to say I wouldn't want DF anywhere near our beloved club.

I was on holiday with mates and Ferguson, Lee Sharpe and a couple of others were in the next room, DF was a bit billy big time, sharpy and the other lads were a great laugh

I can tell you one major thing I've learnt from uni, and that is not to appoint someone who as been in football all their life.

The reason why this is, that the coaches now are being taught by former footballers, and the current mangers coming through have been taught/learnt from former/current managers. This means that a cycle of knowledge from coaches/managers is continuing in football leaving feck all fresh to ever come into this sport.

In saying that if Blackwell ever gets sacked or leaves us we'll probably get another previous footballer to manage us just because he's 'been there and done it before'.

Tis the sad state of football and sport tbh.

Yes, just read that in today's press. Now Fry is as ignorant as they come (see Big Ron, 'Manager') but it seems DF has been lined up for Hull.

Just shows that it's the sub plots that go on in football are more meaningful that the initial headlines
