Rangers were awful too. Sometimes a player moves to a different club nd becomes a different player. He was pretty good for Preston. I think he will do relatively well for them next season...on the limited service they will provide him with of course.

I discuss matters in a very amicable manner with the vast majority of posters on here. Often disagreeing but getting on perfectly well.

One or two others get a bit full of themselves. I try to help them with a little well-meaning guidance but if they choose confrontation, that's their prerogative and I accommodate them. Robust expression does not equate to insult. Insult is what I receive quite frequently, without complaint.

Only Wilder can answer that question, probably explained by the comparatively low offer United went in with.

I've already said, everyone apart from Ipswich, Bolton, Milwall and Burton would not have a problem spending 2m on a player.

The thing I don't get about Lenihan is why are we the only ones after him? The saga has been going on a while but no one else has even been mentioned as being after him.

I think it's because he's seen as a player who's good enough for the championship rather than a good championship player. So the clubs that have money tend to have higher ambitions, they want good championship players to push for promotion. If you've got money, that's the expectation.
Take away those clubs and there aren't many who will pay around £2m.
