Speaking to a Man City season ticket holder yesterday and he said they were pissing themselves laughing about maybe getting 1.6M for Vassell. He said he runs about like a headless chicken but his finishing and control is shit. He did say however that Ched Evans was a good player and we ought to go for him over Vassell.

Same view from a city mate of mine, he thinks Vassell is a liability (dirty bastard were the words he used) always giving away free kicks.

On a personal note, he is one of those players I have taken a dislike too for no reason at all :thumbdown:

He also said that they wouldn't be selling Evans if they hadn't won several rollover lotteries at once

Good friend of mine from Norwich says Ched Evans is the business and they rave about him down there.

Read in a paper that he gets released this coming Wednesday. Haven't heard anything specific about him coming to us but thought I'd mention it as he's been continually linked all year. Personally I hope we focus on younger hungry targets (like the ones we keep getting linked with in the press), but we'll see.
