Been a few times he has undermined McCabe this season and if he has a problem he should have stuck with his decision to resign when he did in the summer.

For him to then openly question McCabe again today when he was told that McCabe had told us there was money available might just be the final straw.

'We will have to wait and see on that one'

Yes two totally differing statements in interviews on radio pig before today's game, one of them is a lying bleeder.

One of them has a track record for being a lying bleeder.........

Sounded as though that was a direct comment re: the targets he's got in mind rather than on the issue of financial backing. Certainly didn't sound like he was contradicting McCabe - though obviously McCabe's words earlier don't match with what DW said previously re: selling before buying. Entirely possible that recent form has meant a change in that regard though.

Danny was told that Kevin McCabe had said there was money available for him. After a pause Danny's exact words were :-

'We will have to wait and see on that one'

Maybe Mr McCabe has finally got round to watching the video of recent games and realise just how bad we are at the moment and that his investment will never get out of this triple dip recession unless he invest in the team. ( seems there is some sort of political metaphor here)

He said that yes - I thought it was in response to the question on the lines of 'Kevin McCabe told us earlier that there is money available to bring in new players - are you hopeful of bringing any new faces in before Friday?'

how very dare you! nobody at our great club would ever do such a dastardly deed as tell porky pigs.

strategically misappropriate words to create a more favourably brandable consumer focused image, or other such convoluted claptrap, possibly.

i of course, couldn't possibly comment.

Think the interview with Danny was on Thursday before they travelled. Mccabe said he had only spoke to Danny this morning, so that is why there maybe a difference in what they say, so can't accues them of being liars. Mccabe did admit did not speak to Danny enough perhaps he should!

The comments by Wilson were made after today's game.

I'm talking about the pre match interviews where Danny has said players would have to leave before someone came in, obviously that's not the case.

He's stutterin and splutterin over every question posed to him. He's fuckin losin it.

I did not get that impression. For xxxx sake we played a premiership team. Reading BBC stats at half time we were doing okay, we had our chances but no one to score (same old story ).

Why do people pore over press statements /interviews and then come to the most silly conclusions and post them on here?
Answers on a postcard please....

We were always going to be underdogs but it's more the comprehensive scoreline. Plenty of clubs have played Premiership teams in competitions this season and not lost by a large margin, some have even beaten them !

Macclesfield, Aldershot and Luton all well below us all put up a better showing than us, of all the teams in the FA cup playing higher level opposition only one was hammered and embarrassed yes you guessed it Sheffield fookin United.

O.K. we lost a one off against a Premier league team. You quote three teams that did better on a one off basis.
How many of those clubs have reached the semi final stage in the last ten years, or been to Wembley, or had a decent level of support? Yes again, you have guessed correctly SHEFFIELD UNITED.

Do you think that telling the world that we have plenty of money to spend on new players, or who our prospective targets are would be the best way to aquire players at an affordable price? Do you see poker players showing their cards?

Please help Danny and Kevin get us the players we want without hindering them or losing their targets as too much money is asked of us. They seemed to do ok on Murphy getting the SPL player of the month for much less than Motherwell's asking price, without interference.

yeah weve got that much money to spend, we accept a £1.2m offer for our top scorer. from a club swimming in money from selling sumdee else.

I agree that we don't have a fortune to spend, that's why it's important to maximise the benefit of spending what we have.

My guess is someone never wanted pig wilson in the first place so is mistaking his words for those of blackwell following the play off final.

From what I understand Wilson is on a rolling contract and he was asked back on a reduced wage. It got sorted but alot of things went on behind the scenes over the summer, mostly not good
