Absolutely bang on the money. To be he looks like a completely different player to the lazy, disinterested players who used to go hiding during the last couple of seasons, and now he looks like a strong, fit striker who has the instinct to get in the right places, and isn't scared to have a pop. Nailed on to move to Southampton initially on loan in January they will only sign him after court case as he runs the risk of 5 to 10 with a not guilty plea. If cleared he`ll move perminantly . We simply cant afford his 20K a week wages on our gates. Billy Clarke to be brought in in January as a replacement .

I would suggest the difference may also be Rochdale rather than Norwich, or Chesterfield rather than Leeds United. You drop down low enough and even you could start scoring goals Brownie

Why Southampton ? Adkins is a known fan of Sharp . As his court case is in March,if he does go I would have thought a short term loan deal to someone like Leeds,he will then come back after the trial in March(if not guilty) and go on loan again back to the same club.

However I would have thought United will ask for a loan fee and all of his wages to be covered.
