My Opinion - Not impressed with Danny Wilson especially now he is looking to blame fans for his own and the teams' failings!
Is it essential that Wilson gets us up this year?
Will he be sacked if he fails?
Opinions?
but dont give any kudos for setting that standard , good one
doesnt explain the logic of the mindset of my last question
but theres the dichotomy , you can have him succeeding and failing at the same time

When you're by far the biggest and best supported club in the league and have the most resources available,
When you're by far the biggest and best supported club in the league and have the most resources available, the aim and expectation is promotion. It was the case last season, and it's the same this.
ah , theres another thing , is that projecting the right starting point
yes we traditionally get good gates, but do we get points for that
Arsenal get 60000 , shouldnt they be second behind man utd then
why are aston villa in relegation problems their gates are top 10
biggest and best
coventry won an fa cup in my lifetime we aint so have portsmouth
its all arguable about whos best
Doesn't matter whether we go up or not this year, as long as Wilson is at the helm we are going nowhere.
Our average attendance is 18,225. Coventry's is 10,875 and Portsmouth's is 11,931, we are by far the best supported club. Coventry winning the cup in 1987 doesn't mean that Sheffield United fans should not expect promotion.
Doesn't matter whether we go up or not this year, as long as Wilson is at the helm we are going nowhere. With the resources he has had at his disposal we should be home and hosed but you only have to look at our last performance to see how we are struggling to make the required impact in a division that is so poor it beggars belief. Should we scrape promotion and hang on to Wilson then we'll be back where we are now at the first attempt. Deep down though I think we all know it goes much deeper than the manager's situation, for as long as McCabe is in charge we are in for a constant struggle.
Never mind were all going to die soon, hurrah .
Oh Danny Wilson,
Almost forgot an ordinary manager of an ordinary team - no more no less!
Third division is his standard - not done anything yet to prove otherwise
If we do go up this year it will be mainly due to the poor quality of the division - look at our competition
Tranmere, Donny Rovers, Brentford, Bournemouth, Yeovil - hardly stand out teams awash with cash pulling in crowds in excess of 16,000 in fact most of them would dream to pull in crowds of 8,000 (if they could get them into their grounds)
Sh!t teams, sh!t grounds, sh!t football and we are supposed to get excited!!
Theres no denying we are very well supported, , but the income from gates is needed just to fund the resources we have, large squad academy, the size of crowd doesnt mean success is guarenteed
