His England record isn't bad: 42 caps, 16 goals. Those 16 goals were against Belgium, Sweden (2), San Marino (3), Scotland, Moldova (2), Switzerland (2), Slovenia (2), Lithuania, Malta and Costa Rica. With the greatest of respect, and with the exception of Belgium, that's Championship opposition at best.

I'm not arsed about Welbeck, I think he's a mercenary and it's a slippery slope when we start bringing people like him in. These threads are always revived when someone scores.

McBurnie and Mousset got 6 last season. If they don't match that this year, it'll be because we, as a team, are worse this season. In which case, Welbeck isn't going to fare any better than them. He got two in a relegated Watford team last year. McGoldrick has already matched that, playing in the League's worst attacking team.

It was mentioned that Wilder will be investing in the midfield the next transfer window. Hopefully he can bring in some creative players that can create some opportunities for our strikers. I hoping that the current group once they start scoring it will snowball. I think we have goals in Brewster and Mouse. Sadly, I think we need an upgrade on CDM, LCM and AM and I dont think we will have that much cash for January to bring in staters.

Personally top of the list has to be a left sided centre half whatever percentage of the budget it takes up we need a base to play from and we just don’t have it right no we’re so unbalanced everything comes down the right. Then I’d agree a solution at CDM needs to be found because it’s not Norwood it might be ampadu but I doubt we’ll know for sure because I think he’s going to see significant time at centre back between now and January. After that then yeah a AM option would be nice.

Eze plays well ‘should’ve signed him when we had the chance’ (the chance being he played quite well when we played them early in the promotion season so because the fans saw him first we clearly had a chance to sign him) etc. I’m bored fucking shitless of reading drivel.

havent we still got 2 foreign and 1 domestic loan yet ? if so think that will be the route we will take presuming moose is back in january we dont need another striker left centre back creative midfielder and goalscoring midfielder have to be our priorities surely just hope its not too late by then utb fto
