I'm beginning to think that all this talk about QPR having an enormous transfer budget is pretty way off the mark. They made intelligent moderate signings last year rather than splashing the cash massively, and unless I've missed it we've actually spent more money buying players this summer. All current talk of incoming players seems to be in the loan market (Naughton and Bullard the latest mentioned).

Webber is no better than any other striker they have at the club - Bothroyd, Helgusson, Mackie, Agemang and Hulse are all better players at this point of time. This should raise some alarm bells with QPR fans.
