Of course, you can condense a season down to one moment, much like the Don Givens penalty miss, but in reality we weren't good enough over a whole season to maintain our position in the Premier League, notwithstanding the Tevez affair. Our away form was poor. I am sure Webber regrets hitting the post, but it was decisions and performances elsewhere that got us relegated, but I do understand your sentiments.

Always remember Danny Webber being one of our best/ most talented players during the promotion season but in the PL he was so underwhelming. I also remember that one on one with the keeper against Wigan late in the game.
Time seemed to go in slow motion, he chipped the keeper....the ball was going in.....it the inside of the post.....oo ah the ball is rolling along the line...could it sneak in.....but wait our striker is following in to tap it into the empty net...but there’s a Wigan defender sprinting with him....both players dive towards the ball together...it’s going in....but their defender just manages to get his toe in first to hook it clear off the line.

It was at that point I knew we were fated to lose and be relegated, didn’t help that on the walk to the car after the match the heavens opened and there was a massive downpour of heavy rain. It’s incredible to realise that bottom of the league West Ham won something like 8 of their last 10 matches including beating top of the league Man United on the final day.
