He looks like a good player. A hybrid of Mark Duffy and the Roadrunner.

Is he good enough for the Prem though?

If I was Daniel James, United would be the ideal club. Certain of more game time over other options he could have in the fucking prem

Or he could go to someone else earn double and get a loan move for game time.

Not seen enough of him but I’d like to see a bit more production before paying what they are asking . Pacey flash in the pan who scored one cracking goal so far....

You can't be serious hahaha

Well he Was nowhere near Swansea’s squad before the sold everyone and lucked into playing him. It’s a gamble who wouldn’t be getting half as much attention had he not run the length of the pitch to score once

Admittedly, I haven’t seen much of him so you’re gonna have to convince me there’s a position for him in the current formation we play.

He's one of, if not the hottest young footballing talent in this country. Bielsa wants him... It's even been rumoured he's impressed Pep and could be on his way to City.
Pace to burn, dribbling and end product. The boy is going places!
If he went to City I could see him in a wingback role. If we got him I'd build the team around him!! AM running at opposition defenses.

Whoever buys him would need a freekick expert as well to capitalise on the number of times he gets brought down just before he can do any damage.

Brunt is available on a free and Harry Wilson will be available on loan

His numbers aren't particularly impressive (4 goals/7 assists), he seems quite inconsistent and here's the biggest problem: he's a winger. We don't play with wingers.

He seems to be inconsistent?? Haha you been watching him every game have you?
And you thinking he's a winger and nothing more isn't the biggest problem.
The biggest problem is... He's out of our reach I'm afraid.

Why is he out of our reach. Bourenmouth signed Brooks from us last year. They're hardly what you'd call a Premier League giant are they.

Most Premier League teams won't even take a glance at him. They are too busy trying to find the finished product in overseas leagues.

In all fairness how many players could that be said about. Young players don't always get chances and they have to take them when they do.

For example look at Brooks. He was going to league 2 on loan. If he had not have played so well in the Toulon tournament god knows where he would be now.

Similar with Harry Kane. I seem to remember that when he broke into the spurs side their entire strike force was out injured.

After 3 successful seasons in the top flight AFC Bournemouth did indeed spend big in the last window.
That's not really my point though, the logistics of it. I'm just flabbergasted that some people are picking holes in the lads profile. When a player is being touted as the next Bale, when a player is receiving praise from all the top managers! It seems obvious to me that he'll be out of our reach I'm afraid.
Hope I'm wrong. He'd be an unbelievable signing if we pulled it off.

We've got 100 mill.
No the owners have got £100m and an expensive court battle that will make the play offs look like a playground scrap coming up.

Harry Wilson will be available on loan
And Liverpool will be very accommodating after Woodburn. At least Chris W had the balls to take the financial hit with Woodburn when he quickly sussed him out.

Good player and would be a great signing but think clubs higher in the food chain want him

As he nearly signed for Leeds in January, I’d say a newly promoted Premier League team such as ourselves would have a half decent chance of signing.

Has his second half of the season been that sensational that he’s gone from nearly signing for Leeds to signing for established/top Premier League club? I don’t see it myself, but we’ll soon find out.

Linked with Everton in today's papers, as is Matt Grimes

£20m for him and Mcburnie in a double deal?

It’s a fair point but Klopp seems reasonable and Woodburn was the one at fault not us or Liverpool

No, just from what I gather having seen him play on a few occasions and listening to a couple of podcasts. His numbers back up the idea that he's not very consistent.

Most people wouldn't have any idea who he is had he not scored that wonder goal earlier in the season.

He went to school with my kids and I know his Dad. I don't know about the financials, but he apparently could have come to our academy a few years ago and his Dad always speaks highly of the Blades.

His Dad is a Cardiff fan, so anything will be an improvement on his current employer! You are buying potential with a kid like James, he has only had one season of first team football in the Championship. No guarantees he will automatically make the step up to the Prem. Worth a punt but not at silly money.

Man United and Liverpool both after him for 10 million as hes out of contract next season.
Will he chase the money or do a Maguire and join a team he's going to get game time?

Why Man U want a winger I've no idea, when the likes of Martial can't even get game time.
