Wave after wave of attack took off Osborn for McG and slowed the game down . Fell asleep for one of their two chances. Game should have been over at HT with all the chances that were missed. Davies injured maybe Bash will return for the next game.

Shame it was Davies and not Egan who got injured.

Blessing in disguise he is no good weak link in defence once again. No strength no pace no hight not sure what it is that he has that makes him a good CB but I can't see what it is my-self

Agree totally. We need a big, brick shithouse centre half who can head a ball and dominate a centre forward. Instead we have loaned (probably on massive wages) a skinny, weak centre half who can play a bit. Massively over rated

Robinson nailed on to start against his old club. Can't wait.

It’s time to realise CW got the best out of these players for 4 out of 5 years.

Slav isn’t in the same league as CW

If people can't hold their nerve and let the manager use the January window to strengthen I fucking give up.

We're not far away but let's just bed wet over disappointing results and a few short dodgy spells.

and when the Duracell bunny ran flat he did a runner with nearly 4 million in the bank.

Agreed, it totally slowed us down, trouble is 100% of the pace we have at our disposal was in the first 11 so whoever was brought on was going to slow us down.

Extremely frustrating. Quite a bit of brilliance, some absolute terrific play, but also stuff that was shocking. Ndiaye will be our new record sale and him, Mousset and MGW is giving us some hope.

We need to look for even more contribution from the rest though. They can't just be on the pitch to give the ball to one of those three and hope they'll put the ball in the net. Organised and hard working teams like today's opponents will often be able to put pressure on the finish when there aren't enough threats. For all our combinations, skill and quality, when we have attempts on goal there is usually a defender throwing himself at the finish.

When the opposition finish, sooner or later they do get some chances, they tend to find the time and space to hit the ball with power and precision.

We have things to do in January. We need to rebuild. Jokanovic must be encouraged to identify some players that he wants to get rid of. We may have to accept some of them will be sold with a big loss. I thought it was weird when SJ said he wouldn't sell Ramsdale for £100m at a time when his team was even more desperate for signings than now. If he was given £100m and we didn't have Ramsdale, would he then spend it all on buying Ramsdale? We may have a different signing process now, but someone at the club needs to realise the squad is unbalanced and that we have a few players who need a move.

For now I think we should look at midfield and full back for improvement. The left hand side was poor today. Osborn has done well overall, but I think he may need to be backed up by a fitter, quicker left back than Stevens, someone to fly past him. If Lowe has improved so much as Forest fans say, maybe he's worth a go. RND hasn't lived up to expectations, but he's got time to improve. Osborn struggled today, misplaced a few passes and failed to see some runs in key situations.

I hope Bogle is fit soon. Baldock's not giving us enough offensively. MGW tends to start games well, but when he needs someone to take some pressure off him, it's not really coming, leading to MGW getting frustrated and less involved. I still have high hopes for Bogle.

In midfield Norwood and Fleck remain a problem, and Hourihane doesn't seem the player to offer something different. Guedioura should at the very least be on the bench and may even be worth a start. Fleck was a bit better today, Norwood a bit worse, but collectively they don't give the defence enough protection and don't do enough to hurt teams, or to set up players in good enough situations. I suggest we avoid discussing Berge until he is fit.

It was another unconvincing display from the centre halves today, but I'm not sure there's any options that will help at the moment. The way we want to play out from the back, a left footer is almost a necessity at LCB, and I can't see SJ dropping Egan for Basham. I just hope that the short term addressing of the above, may have a positive impact on them. Long term we should be looking for a completely different back four to the one we had today.

We start slow, build momentum, start too create a few excellent chances but miss them, play well, looking good, then the away side score an easy straight forward goal against us
Lose the game, on to the next match and repeat
