The Sunday Times says 20,650 but that is the crowd they have given at Burnley so maybe they are mistaken?

Think he was at another game. Didn't see any spare seats and looked today on TV and couldn't see any. Seems we have a few on here who spot the mysterious empty seats.

Good point. I can't believe that a PL club would fail to publish the crowd. Not being nerdy, but I need it for the update to Denis Clarebrough's book etc. Any chance of finding out via your various press connections stringer ?

I can't remember the last time I sat in my actual seat at an away game. As a group we have to get seats separately due to the loyalty point brackets, so we all stand at the back usually (or where there is a gap). I expect that's the case for a lot of people.

Why don't most media outlets bother with the attendance any more? It used to be a big part of reading the footie results.
