Agree…..I’m surprised that our high pricing hasn’t received more publicity…we’re one of the highest in the EFL
It’s not been highlighted by a single Blade calling any of the Football Heaven shows I’ve heard on Radio Sheffield.

Most people buy their tickets over the net
so for the Leeds match it’s £42 on then Kop, £44 in the BLUT and £47 in the South stand, John street stand or Kop corner.

Another point that doesn’t receive enough mention is our category system.
This year at least half the home games have been made category A…..so that’s £37 on the Kop and £42 in most other places.
We made the Stoke game cat A and next month the Preston match is also cat A.
Surely these 2 games should be cat B? Which is still quite expensive at £31 on the Kop and £37 in most other stands.

My view is that United have copied Chansiri at Sheff Wed.
Wednesday fans complain about their prices but they are seeing their highest average attendances in years….same with us.
Both Sheffield clubs enjoy high season ticket sales every year.

Match day tickets are so high that anyone who intends to attend 50% of the matches may as well buy a season ticket.
If you attend all the home match’s then the savings are massive and buying a season ticket is fantastic value.
Most of the Arsenal friends I know with season tickets share the cost and the games. I think the same happens more and more at the lane now. The games I miss, I forward tickets to my eldest to share with his mates. I probably break about even with the games I attend with an early bird season ticket compared to buying individually, but next season I will try to arrange with someone who lives in Sheffield where they can buy my midweek, night and other games I can't attend off me for 50-75% of the face value cost.

If there are restrictions on fans getting tickets how have Leeds fans managed to get tickets in upper tier
From what’s been said before, fluttering your eye lids at the ticket office manager seems to remove any perceived risks.

That's what I would like to know, club to blame if true
I don't know if Leeds have or not. But seems the club have tried to stop it with the points requirement.
Why is it you think or know Leeds fans have got tickets?

I regularly go in the BLUT, and have often seen the odd away fan, especially when we have been in the PL. Generally they have kept their heads down, although 1 annoying Liverpool fan springs to mind, who decided to join in with the singing below.

I assume that that given the small numbers they are people who know people based in sheffield with access to the booking system. If leeds are there in numbers, I would be surprised and concerned.

The issue of a loyalty points requirement, and one-ticket per customer is the club’s answer to the need to ensure no away fan can easily get tickets in the home ends.
How do you make it really easy for part-time blades fans, neutrals (who could be future fans), mates and family of fans etc. … to get tickets in the home end, while at the same time making it really difficult for away fans to get the same tickets?
I think allowing purchase of a second ticket per season ticket holder may be an alternative, but could the club trust season ticket holders not to sell the ticket online at a higher price - making it easy for away fans to get hold of them?
Are there other solutions?
Yes the person who sold the ticket on ! has there season ticket cancelled or refused a re-nuel

Touts will have memberships of club sites, especially those who are / have been in PL. Fans sometimes buy and sell to touts. Many Leeds fans live in S Yorks, and may have set up accounts previously or blagged tickets from the ticket office or from others who aren't going. Fans of other clubs may have accounts. We know that the 650 loyalty point minimum can be waived if you can convince them you are a genuine Blade in need. Some may have abused that, unfortunately. There will also be some comps given out that may fall into the hands of Leeds fans. Impossible to totally stop such abuse of course, but sky-high prices for home fans will have reduced demand amongst genuine Blades, meaning Leeds fans will be aware that tickets are still available

An ideal solution would be to give one side of the BLUT to Leeds fans, but of course SAG and the police would never allow that - even though sharing a stand between home and away fans is common practice at many other clubs. If we allow away fans in the BLUT no home fans are even allowed on the Westfield.

Whilst we continue to put barriers in the way of getting new fans into the ground on game day we will see situations like we have tonight, probably biggest game of the season for promotion for both teams, we’re not sold out by a long stretch, asking for 650 points for one ticket plus about £50, I hope we can find a way to sort this moving forward

the 650 hasn't been waived for this game, I know a few lads who have pestered the ticket office but they couldn't get tickets.

This is the empitest section of the BLUT now, John St end. It won't fully sell out but it's going to look pretty full come KO.

If they are brand new, they 'have' to be , as those few hundred would be bought by Leeds fans. There has to be some method. So the restriction is there. Not really seen anyone suggest a better way.
Cheap entry for local school / colleges seems a good way maybe, or season ticket holders being able to buy extra, maybe only to registered friends and family.
People saying it's crap, really need to suggest a good solution (not aimed at you btw)
Now I’m not putting us in this category but EPL teams have 100’s of not 1000’s of tourists in their stadium every week, no issues where they are as professional managed ( not saying it’s right either but here we are), but as a club we must do better, without knowing the restrictions it’s hard to put in to many suggestions.
But we could as suggested have kids go in for cheap, students during freshers week could have been signed up and allow them to get X amount of games per season for a £10.
We could allocate an area of the ground for first timers with plenty of of stewards Blut for example
Allowing for anyone with above 650 points to buy more than one ticket for friends but they are responsible if there’s an issue with the other tickets

I’m sure there’s loads of other ways to move forward with the ticketing system and we need to as a club hopefully that wants to progress

Part will be syp.
Watching PL games, they have fans in the same stand, just a row of stewards in the aisle. We 'need' big segregated areas??
Went away to Fulham and it's sperate in the stand, mixed in the concourse.

Pretty sure Liverpool and City fans were segregated by a line of stewards yesterday. Not been to the Etihad so don't know if there's a physical barrier too?

Yeah. Thought the same.
Don't think any divider. We went in last PL season (why???) and it was just tarp on a couple rows of seats.

Spurs v Man Utd last week barely had stewards separating them on the side stand from what I saw

There's always been away fans in home ends. Over the years I've been in many home ends myself. It's not like it was in the 70/80s, these days there's HD video cameras everywhere and more or less everybody is on a club database somewhere. Any away fan being a dick and causing problems in a home end should be hit hard by the authorities. That would stop the complete morons, then, as long as normal fans are reasonably discreet and don't make arseholes of themselves I don't have a problem with it.

Anybody else have the tight knot in there stomach, usually its reserved for the derby against the shower of shit across the city, But feeling tense and nervous!

come on you red and white wizards... let's be at it!

I was at Citeh v bin dippers Sunday. Same at Old Trafford , narrow corridor of useless prick stewards no trouble at all . We have the fuck DMZ from North Korea 🇰🇵
