Crowd for Saturday?

Disappoints me does that!

Hope we get 28,000 plus!

I know that mate, seen it enough over the years!

It just annoys me that people last year were coming week in, week out even though we weren't doing great, this year we're expecting to do well and they don't come!

I think Colchester could bring a decent following, first game with the big boys and all that. 18500 ST holders, a couple of thou from Colchester, 4-5k other Blades - 25-26k sounds about right to me.

To be fair when we were in this league last year we would never have got 25,000 + against a mid table team.

It's quite pleasing to know we've got more die hard fans now.

25,000 would be reasonable, but nearer 28,000 would be a much better show. I can't see Colchester bringing more than 1,000 to be honest.

I reckon about 27,000 will turn up, and then about 3,000 of them will have buggered off when Blackpool come to town.

I guess some will be on holiday but it will be intresting to see what the gates are like after the holidays.

Pretty decent attendance really, given a poor turnout from Colchester and the holiday season. Don't think we've ever started a season in this division with anything like that before. We need to get a few wins to keep them coming though!
