Do you want his PayPal or bank account? :)

Well it costs me £4 return on the tram,so I am thinking that £19 is not bad,a price worth paying to avoid either the Woodhead,Snake,M62 or A6 at rush hour coming from Stockport.

If he does use his motor vehicle,I would recommend A6,down Winnats,Hope Valley,Ecclesall Road South, park in Waitrose.,jobs a gud un.

Five quid for my ticket, boring draw but great chance to progress especially with a strong side expected, oh the luxury of being able to bench the likes of Billy in the league and play him in the cup, unbelievable!

Its a shame as the club have done great with the ticket prices, but the cup unfortunately is not what it was (or should be) - see the 530 KO time for the final...

We were originally for the Villa game, however, any opportunity to see the blades is an opportunity worth taking. You lot who live locally and get to every home game don't know how lucky you are. Even over the last 6 years it has been a real treat to get over to the lane. Ask any fan who only gets sporadically and they will tell you how enjoyable it is. You locals are spoiled.

I was in Belfast for 5 days last week, what a fantastic place.

I’ll be one of the 15,408 on Saturday, if nothing other than to watch an exciting Wilder team who I feel honoured and duty bound to watch and say « thank you « for making visits to Bramall Lane fun again.

Although listening to others planning family outings and consideration for other halves I feel slightly ashamed for going to watch and support the Blades.

Seem to recall Port Vale fans outnumbering us in a Cup match not long ago.
Nov 2012.
Shaun Miller the late hero with two injury time goals to beat Adams and his men. Including one Clayton McDonald

Looking at the ticket site, the sales are piss poor for this game. Cheap tickets, a good chance to progress, Saturday 3pm kick off, there shouldn’t be a single thing stopping people from getting to this, is this the time for the “proper blades” argument?

In the words of Delia, Where are you? Let’s be having you!

That’s fine obviously, but the missing 15-20,000 this Saturday to Tuesday night don’t all live in Spain. Most of them live in Sheffield and can’t be arsed

I live in Sheffield and would have liked to have gone, but had fairly major surgery on Jan 10th. It went well but I won't be mobile enough to get to the Lane till end Feb at earliest. Wouldn't have been able to even if we'd been playing Barca at home in the Champions League final.

Everyone has different circumstances (family, work, finance, health, etc) and sadly the FA Cup isn't the draw it once was. Basically I hate generalizations that have a pop at other Blades who you don't even know. We're all part of the Blades family however many games we attend.

There’s always going to be exceptions, like yourself. But your situation is exactly that, an exception. The vast majority just simply can’t be arsed to turn up for the team the claim to support.

And they do turn out in great numbers, home and away, for league games. Sadly nowadays cup matches are more like reserve fixtures for any club with aspirations of promotion or fears of relegation. In my youth (many moons ago) if anything the FA Cup was the greater draw. I certainly wouldn't criticize anyone for deciding to give this Saturday's game a miss, but I will praise those who go and get behind the team.

Best wishes with the recovery fella, hopefully you’ll be back well in time for a tremendous end to the season and a succesful play off campaign

Following this comment I realised I'm being an idiot. £10 quid for me and 5 quid for the daughter (she was only 4 last week). Why not spend the day with my daughter by taking her to her 1st ever footy match. My 1st match was an fa cup game so why shouldn't hers be?

Ticket purchased, I doubt she'll last 90 mins, but I'll be there. She knows the words of the GCB, so it will be a proud Dad moment. If she can get through to 75 mins I'll be happy.

COYRAWW

P.S apologies if I have to get past you every 5 mins for the toilet.

So glad I went she absolutely loved it. Left on 85 mins to get home quicker and she cried. She wanted to stay till full time.

This going to cost me a fortune!
