Released, SIGN HIM!

Norwich City's player of the season Lee Croft has had his contract terminated one month early by mutual consent.

The 23-year-old winger spent three years at Carrow Road, scoring nine goals in 131 games, but has left the club following their relegation.

Boss Bryan Gunn told the club website: "Lee's made it clear his future lies elsewhere, this gives him the chance to explore other opportunities."

The ex-Manchester City man is a target for Nigel Clough's Derby.

And it wouldn't have been too hard to have shone in that Norwich side. That said, we need wide players.

I think it's fair to say hes underperformed but he wasn't Englands most capped under 21 player for no reason.

I think Blackwell should take a chance on him, I think we may get the best out of him.

He'd be like a fish out of water at the Lane

Word from my Canary mate is that we should snap him up - bit slow and right sided only but would be an asset - - but they don't want Carney in return cos he's carp too. Norwich are set to plunder the likes of Histon and Cambridge Utd to drive their return to the Champ - so they have no need of an Aussie international!!
