Welcome to the 5th annual Creepometer. Other omoters come and go but the Creepometer remains, the single most authoritative, accurate, ground-breaking, scientifically based, Sheffield Utd predictor on the market. And, as fellow Blades you get it for free! Over the last 4 years, the Creepometer has proven remarkably accurate – within 1.0217% (after taken into account an adjustment to cater for the unpredictable scenario of 4 managers in a season last year)

With teams I’ve never heard of before, this season’s predictions are very challenging but I’m confident that feeding my wealth of football related knowledge and extensive research into a proven mathematical model will result in yet another reliable set of results. Get down the bookies now!

This year we will get 71 points which may be enough to see us flirt with the play-offs. Assuming, of course we don’t get Sealo back half way through the season.

if we win away as you predict why do we not get 3 points?

Cheers, not much point going to Stevenage then.

so we will only lose to Huddersfield all season at home?

The Creepometer is a thing of beauty. Watch the excuses mount as month-by-month it gets torn up and stamped on by reality.

Over the last 4 years, the Creepometer has proven remarkably accurate

For the uninitiated, this is on the basis that predicting 20 points too many one year and then 20 points too few the following year apparently cancel each other out for 100% accuracy...

That said, I demand that this thread be pinned, or stickied, or whatever.

That's a 50% success rate so far Creepy!

So...

Only one out of three correct results. One out of three correct scores.

After 3 games we have 125% more points than predicted.

Oh dear :D

It's good to see the Creepometer off to a 5 point right side failure after 3 games!!!

The Creepometer - as good today as it ever was.

It's a marathon not a sprint :)

Of course one of the hardest variables to predict in my algorithms is the impact a new manager has. Excellent start for the universally admired Mr. Wilson not originally accounted for but I have faith in my model which has a proven track record

I expect further anomolies before we settle down to some sort of consistency

Strong smell of horse around here

:gallop:

I think somebody should send a copy of the creepometer to Danny Wilson and the 1st team. They obviously aren't scientifically approaching this season correctly.

Is this seriously supposed to be some sort of mathematical model or is it all a bit of a tongue in cheek wind up?

Creepometer > Ollies mate.

They're on the ghost of another site, may it R.I.P

The Creepometer archives are lost to history....

Mind you, on a brighter note, so is the Copmeisterometer!

Dont let McGuire see it , he thinks we can go all season unbeaten
Im the eternal optimist and I didnt believe that was possible
unless,,,,,,,,,,,
but win at scunny and itll be like moving into another parallel universe, where we are invincible
