Late home from work so that's killed that one off then.

I see you live in Poynton - have you visited the grave of Cec Coldwell and his wife in St George's churchyard?

It says "United Forever" on the gravestone – a lovely inscription.

It's not on Google, by the way.
Is St georges the one in the middle of Poynton where the fancy brick roundabout is ? I pass through most days and thought about it this morning ,I will go and get a picture if it is that one.

Fantastic result and another clean sheet to boot. Do not underestimate the power of Sheffield United.

I'm just glad to see us get the win after the run ended on Saturday. I was fearing another slide down the table. Very good sign that Clough's been able to get them back on track so quickly.

Great win. Clough has tried to keep playing the preferred first eleven, but the Wolves game showed that it was time to make a couple of changes. Three new players showed tonight that they're capable of being a part of a winning side, while three players got a much deserved break which may make them come back stronger.

Not been on for a while so forgive me. Been tonight and a very professional performance. McGinn actually did a good job and very professional all round. If we can keep this going the job is getting better. Watch the 2 boxes at the end of the family stand. Their is real money available!

It is indeed. I was going to pop round on Saturday and grab a quick picture myself but got distracted.

Does anyone yet realise that we maybe at Wembley 4 times this year ?
FAC semi,FAC final, Play off Final ,and Charity shield !how many 3rd tier teams could boast that !!
Yeh I know we'll only be there the once ,but I can dream zzzzzzz (is that the alarm already ?) :):)

Terrific result. Perhaps just as important, a return to form in terms of performance. At the end if the day, good football wins matches, not the vagaries of 'luck'.

If the RS commentary and KE summaries are correct we played very well, with Howard, Murph and Coady outstanding in a proper team performance. I'd like to hear the views of the magnificent 700+ who were there.

We have a good team that will only get better. Good times ahead.

I ❤️ Nigel....

...and Coady...

...not forgetting Scoogs!

Agreed. Tonight was a great show of character. To win away at Crawley on a Tuesday night, only 3 days after suffering a home defeat ending a winning run speaks volumes about our excellent manager and the team he is building for us. I'm delighted (which makes a welcome change from despair).

My mate texted me saying could we just hide Coady over the Summer and play dumb when Liverpool ask about him?

Good performance. I wouldn't say we created a massive amount and relied on a deflection for the second, but we didn't really give crawley a sniff.

Their poor keeper was getting absolute pelters in the second half from the terraces. Some of it a little beyond the pale I may hasten to add.....
