Bollocks :( Same night as James at Roxys ,what time do bands usually come on there ?

April 16th? The world could have ended by then. I was rather hoping they'd squeeze it in this month, preferably Tuesday 19th when I just happen to be on a week off work.

1985? ;)

Seriously, James are brilliant (only one song indeed. tut).
United are shit at the moment. It's no contest..

My Top 10 James Singles:-

1)Waltzing Along
2) Tomorrow
3) Sound
4)Born of Frustration
5)Seven
6)Destiny Calling
7)Laid
8)Sometimes
9)She’s a star
10)Sit Down

Nothing off the Hey Ma album ? Waterfall and the title track would get in there ,i also love getting away with it. Probably the most under rated band of the past 20 years .

Also unavailable as away with work all that week and no getting out of it.

For what it is worth I would plump for James at the moment the way things are going at BDTBL.

My birthday eve :) Had no idea James were at Roxy's, if you can organise some sort of delay, I'll nip along with you Sitters :)

Be nice to waterlog roxys and get a postponement to a later date ,as i fly in from the States that morning too. Going to have to miss the beginning of their set I suppose :(

Echo and the bunny men are support btw ,fucking hell .

£45 a ticket for EATBM and James and you're willing to miss half of it for the Blades v Crawley?
I doff my cap at your Bladesness while thinking you must be mad. :)

£45 kin hell, gimme Whitesnake, Journey and Thunder on May 20th

also lined up this year ,Amy Macdonald ,The Who , SLF and the stranglers .

April 16th, that is another bloody game I will miss, thanks to my Brother deciding to get married in Thailand, going to see whether he can postpone his wedding to May, then at least I have a good excuse for not going to the playoff final :)

James for me too. All the way. Can't wait.
I get much more of a buzz out of live music nowadays than football. Especially when it's one of my favourite bands from back in the day.
Anyone else going to see Inspiral Carpets at Leadmill on March 23rd (stay out after Brentford game)?

I'm torn between Justin Currie at City Memorial Hall on the night we play Orient, s'funny, normally there'd be no contest but at the moment JC just might nick it.
However, Ian Hunter at same venue on March 20th has no opposition (at moment), so tickets in bag!

Man up - my 33rd wedding anniversary last year clashed with the Preston away game. Everyone was asking me, "Are you going anywhere for your wedding anniversary?" - Me - "Yeah, Preston"
To be honest mate I don't know how she has put up with me and the Blades for 30 years! I think I owe her this one!!!!!!!!!
Utb!
