Their two goals came from an own goal and a huge deflection.
Their two goals came from:
1. Williamson stupidly taking on two midfielders and losing it and the team failing to track against a quick break from defence
2. The back four being completely asleep and failing to close down a pushing-up attack.

You have to give Stevenage credit today, they knew their gameplan and they must have been loving it when news that Wednesday had won came through. They played on United's nerves and got their game plan spot on in the first half. Stop our right hand side and force them back, let the left hand side give the ball away. Unfortunately, Quinn was utter dross and gave them the ball at least half a dozen times and Andy Taylor looked a bag of nerves from the first minute to his substitution.
At least we know how to get at Stevenage now - attack them! We might need that in a couple of weeks!
I think we shouldn't fear them if we do have to play them again, but I have to disagree with Taylor, he had a very pacey full back/winger against him, but he is the best left back we have at the moment - he definitely offered more going forward than Hill does.
Don't get me wrong, Taylor had an OK game but I just felt he never looked settled on the ball. Like I said, a 'bag of nerves' rather than being crap. Hill looks similar to me - looks like there is an accident waiting to happen. Whilst I'd also suggest that Lescinel is also like that, he is far, far superior to both when it comes to providing a danger going forward.
