Cranie

Yeah I know what you mean, I guess in this instance Basham is triple-ply and Cranie is the accidental purchase of double-ply. Does the same job in the end, but isn’t quite the same nonetheless
I don't care how many ply they give me I'm still folding it in half  UTB

What-a-signing this lad has been.
I honestly don't know how Wilder finds them.

He was excellent when he came on.

Outperformed Basham for me and deserves to start against Rotherham.

Really solid player, can probably play right back if we want him to especially Freeman is struggling.

I'm a huge Bash fan but I did feel a bit for Cranie not starting after how well he played last week.

Then throw in Bash not having his best game tonight and Cranie looking the business as soon as he came on.

The positive is our strength in depth that we've improved on since last season.

So impressed with this bloke so far, he's been immense. He seems entirely comfortable in defence and and attack, encompassing the best of Freeman and Baldock. I hope he starts against Rotherham.

Got to agree with this. Thought Cranie looked very good (again!) when he came on. He has excellent composure on the ball and times his tackles very well. Shrewd signing this one Mr Wilder!

Really has to start on Saturday. We looked more of a threat going forward without compromising defensively with MC on the pitch.

He's another one who you can tell has played champ/Prem football for most of his career. Never hurried always calm and composed, good touch and solid defender.

Trig Jnr (TY) had him as MOTM. I thought he was joking, but on reflection, I can’t think of anybody else who made a more positive contribution.
