Craig Davies is a very fine player indeed. I watched him throughout his season for Chesterfield and he was brilliant, not just scoring terrific goals (his speciality being cutting in from the left wing and belting the ball into the far corner) but hard working as well. Defenders are scared shitless when he is around.

He would be great for the Blades in the third division. If there's a chance to sign him get it done before we miss out.

OK, didn't realise you'd taken starts. Including the goals and not the sub appearances distorts the "1 in x" view.

Porter is never a goal every two and a half games man !

Agree, much rather have Davies. We cannot contemplate another season of Porter being a first choice striker. As Nigel has pointed out his scoring record when he starts is poor.

Someone has now said Simeon Jackson and I must say he does look like him.

He's a free agent as well as far as I know.

Not Jackson according to one tweet where someone just asked his brother - but that's not always a definitive.
