Did you here Radio Sheffields Paulette Edwards interview with Rod Deas a member of Showaddwaddy this week? The most cringeworthy interview ever ,she obviously hadn't got a clue what to ask ,and he just sounded embarrassed.
All she said was how her friend at school fancied Dave Bartram ,what was your favourite colour jacket ,will Dave come and watch , so her friend could see him ,it was Alan partridge in a dress unbelievable. She even called him a hanger on because he played bass even though he is an original member of the band.

To be fair to her, no media outlet has any business interviewing a member of Showaddwaddy in the year 2014.

A professional musician who has been constantly touring with a household name band doing sell out concerts, embarking on a worldwide tour ,of course not And yet give someone who jumps into a swimming pool a prime time spot on Saturday night TV. The BBC ? load of shit if you ask me.

Don't worry Sitters all is not lost...Toby "I love the sound of my own voice" Foster's suspension is now over and is set to return to the airwaves.

A worldwide tour taking in such places as The Robin in Bilston, the Arts Centre in Bingley, Camberley Theatre and their (ONLY) overseas date at the Rock in Woitschofska. A guest house in a forest.

If you were to conduct a survey to find the most irrelevant musical act in the world today, Showaddwaddy would come out top. Even if you didn't include them in the multiple choice answers.

So you conveniently miss out Sheffield City Hall ,Manchester arena ,leeds direct arena ,Cardiff ,Newcastle ,Liverpool and Birmingham arena as well as the O2 ,besides the fact that they were one of the biggest acts in the world in the 70's ,have never stopped touring ,they are too irrelevant to be interviewed by any media outlet. Never mind as Bieber and Little Mix get interviewed we all be much better informed.

Those arena dates are as part of some dreadful multi-band 70s revival event.

I don't know who Little Mix is so I can't help you there.

Craig Davies would be a perfect signing for us, he's out of favour at Bolton, at a peak age, good finisher, good with his feet, good in the air, not slow eithet probably around £400k to £600k, go get him in Cloughie

How did he get on at Preston. If he did well, I am surprised they haven't signed him. Even if he was ok, I don't think I would pay anywhere near that for him when Bolton will probably be happy just to get him off the wage bill.

I have to admit being stuck between two types of striker. Poacher v Pacey and athletic (like Davies)

One in Three for Preston scored loads for Chesterfield at this level.

He is a very mobile striker Clough likes to play an uptempo game he could fit the bill.

Still gutted Ogrady side stepped us

He did quite well and when we played then away he never stopped running and beat Collins to everything

Is that a case of "Bo Selecta" you're having there Sheffs?

He's 28 and not improving. His 10 years as a professional striker have yielded 82 goals spread about his multiplicity of clubs. On that basis, it will take him 2 1/2 years to be our 20 goal striker.

I think we can, and should, look for better options.

Chris O'Grady - aged 28 (29 in January), 84 goals in 280 games over 11 years.

Craig Davies - aged 28 (29 in January), 82 goals in 220 games over 10 years.

EDIT

And just for a laugh...

Chris Porter - aged 30 (31 in December), 94 goals in 228 games over 11 years.

Says in the Bolton papers that he is looking to stay and get some goals for them.

Especially since they lost out on the striker they were looking to sign.
