Used to tramp the Carneddau, Tryfan, Helvellyn, you name it, middle of winter wearing shorts. Snow, hail, rain, wind, it didn't matter. Leggings and long trousers just made me overheat uncomfortably.

Im the same, also your skin dries faster than your clothing. Saying all that last week i stopped wearing my all day shorts and put some jeans on

Misjudged it last night. Went for a few layers and a hoody. Was definitely first big coyt game of the season.

Thankfully i got a bovril at ht and the inner fury at paying £3.40 for the pleasure kept me plenty warm.
