The stadium funding, other than the interestElement isn’t a P&L item. Neither are ongoing payments for players. Other than that....

That unfortunately, is football today. To even stay in the Championship you have to have a benefactor who’s willing to cough up 1/4 billion quid. Let alone get out the right way to the Premiership! Where, if Everton are the yardstick 1/2 billion quid of investment gets you mediocrity at best!

Is it right to blame the players (agents) are killing the game financially and its not being put into check ? Cause and effect running rampant?
Players wages need to be reduced or they wont have a team to go to. Maybe not now but in ten years time ?

No it’s not right to blame the players or their agents.It’s the clubs that set the bar by paying obscene wages to buy success,
If someone offered you £100,000 a week you’d be crazy to turn it down and tell em you’d be more than happy with a grand.
Whilst we’ve got billionaire owners throwing loose change about and TV and other revenue streams spunking increasing amounts of money at clubs, wages and fees will naturally escalate

There is no evidence to suggest that will be the case. On top of a £10m loss by BC the previous year. Unless they are having an amazing turn around they will be docked points next season for exceeding £39m over three years.
