Miserable old fucker who sits behind me wanted Mousset off after 10 minutes. Said he wasn’t trying.

100% agree. Watkins, Grant and Assombalonga. The only reason I throw the last one into the mix as he possibly would be 4/5 choice so maybe a cheaper alternative. As like for like as possible.
He has become so pivotal to everything we do going forward that proper cover/competition for him has to be something of a priority. Especially with his apparent injury issues.
If he stays on today, we win. I have absolutely no doubt about that. He kept them pushed back. Our outlet, the constant threat. As soon as he went off they could relax, as we suddenly became limited.
Karlan Grant from Huddersfield stands out as an obvious option.
Good point, not much faith in Robinson or McBurnie to do the same job as Didzy, going off what I have seen so far.McGoldrick is Mr Indestructible though to be fair!
We've certainly found our strike partnership. Now if we could just keep it this way for 2 seasons.....
I'd fancy Robinson/McBurnie/Freeman to have a better go at replacing McGoldrick than anyone would replacing Mousset though.
No. Just No!!Bring back Leon.

Freeman is a Maybe, very positive impact in the few minutes he has had.
I still can't believe how well the squad as a whole have stepped up a level. Going to be hard to find genuine competition for these lads. Great times.
Without doubt ! I know very little about overseas options, but anyone similar (in country) who is doing well will likely cost too much in Jan.Think we may go overseas to find Moose 2
Robinson is being tasked with a similar game but not playing oneRobinson plays a similar game and that’s why he started the season ahead of Mousse. It’s just that Mousse is now hitting fitness and form.

It's great isn't it - when a hopeful ball bounces over the defence you fully expect him to get a clear cut chance from it.
Alle fuckin leulea ,at least you get it , everyone else needs to stop taking the s6 deludimolCan see your point. but how many teams have 11 quality replacements for their first choice 11? Only Man City can claim that.
Remember where we are in this league, first year and limited finances compared to others in the top ten.
Not similar at all...one is a beast, ox like strong, fast, purposeful and lethal... the other is powder poof, tippy tappy type who is nowhere near the same kind of threatRobinson plays a similar game and that’s why he started the season ahead of Mousse. It’s just that Mousse is now hitting fitness and form.
Judging by the way he ragdolled Phil Jones, Akinfenwa is the closest. Great to have a forward with strength and pace. Last time we saw that at this level was when Made sent You're packing against Arsenal but he never really had the fitness to kick on. I think Lys will be a different proposition. As like for like as possible.

They'd at least have a chance to be effective in a different way in place of Didzy. But he's levels above them.McGoldrick is Mr Indestructible though to be fair!

Edited. Not sure how that happened! Thanks for heads up.

Great to see both Robinson and McBurnie involved in salvaging a result.
The penalty Wycombe won against Doncaster was hilarious, as a high ball was dropping, the Donny defender decided to clatter into Akinfewa (who was facing away from goal) at top speed. The result? An injured defender and a 1-0 win for Wycombe.
Of course, it made Gareth Ainsworth happy so it wasn't all good.
Mousset is the player I thought we’d signed when we got Robinson. I thought Callum would perform in a similar fashion if given the license to play up top. They're very different animals. Mousset is a beast (and a CF). Robinson isn't.
