Either that or we're looking at/for different things in him. Thought that was the best I've seen him play for us & that he was excellent throughout. Nothing fancy, just kept making space, kept demanding the ball, & kept it moving.

Needs to be doing that much more often now. (And hopefully the injury isn't at all serious or a revisitation of his past one.)

I just don't get it. It's easy stuff in my opinion. He will be fine against lesser players or those who aren't energetic, but he's well short of the quality we need to get out of this league, in my opinion.

I used to think he was a main culprit. In his defence, I've come to realise that he's no more incompetent than the rest of them.

Last couple of games I thought it was encouraging in a way that he lost the ball a couple of times. It means he's trying more adventurous options. I think it was away at Crewe where he tried a pass - not one of those bizarre five yarders he occasionally fails to get to his target - that didn't come off and it was a surprise.

He's also ventured slowly and timidly forwards with the ball once or twice.

I think there's been a huge increase in Baxter's appetite (for football), if we get the same from Coutts we could be on to a winner - or at least a draw away at Crewe next time at any rate.

You could tell ,same as when the players didn't like playing the way Blackwell had them playing. The passing across the back from Adkins and the hoof and hope from Blackwell must be awful if you are a player who can play a bit.

And I struggle to see why Bruneians need a tax haven. There's no tax in Brunei.

Watching the Coutts of yesterday and many, many times before that, he wouldn't look out of place in a Barcelona setup, he was and has been that good.

For me, our midfield won us the game yesterday, they were pure quality as was the rest of the team to be fair but the midfield set the tone from the first minute and I'm so glad Coutts is delivering on a very consistent basis.
